I did have to cut 3in off the straight side, and upgraded the couplers, I bought the couplers and clamps for $16 here on Amazon, but it worked out great this 2010 Hyundai Elantra has 220k miles and this solution was cheaper than ordering the original intake it looks and sounds great…

Would have giver the filter 5 stars but the rubber tube did not fit in the unit. Luckily I was able to use the 3†metal pipe from the cold air intake this unit replaced. Had to cut several inches from the new pipe and bought a 3†coupler to connect the two. Piece of cake.

So dont buy this if you are looking for a complete cold air kit, the only thing i needed was the pipe and the filter to piece together my own kit, the pipe is alright but the filter is absolute trash they used nonflexable hard plastic type rubber and barely joined the element to the housing theres air gaps everywhere. Also the silicone couplers includes are not silicone they are the same type of hard non flexable junk. If they are silicone its the worst grade of it ive ever handled. All the hose clamps included were bent and theres so much slop in the screw and the band that I wouldnt feel comfortable using them. Like i said I bought it to use a couple pieces from it but even those pieces were trash. The only actual silicone they included was a vacuume line.

You will be required to cut the pipe to fit. This is not made specific to any car. Customer modification necessary.

Looks pretty good and the filter seems to be well made. I tugged on the edges to see if it was flimsy but it held up. I did have to cut the aluminum pipe and get a 2†- 3†adaptor to fit my tiny car. Good value for the money
