Bare with me, I'm making a very serious point here. This is a very good product and maybe this will help you have an easy installation...because it is so simple, the manufacturer didn't send instructions. The accessories that are out nowadays are a THIRD of the size of the same accessories, from just a few years! Now, everything is scaled down, AND THEY WORK BETTER!. I swapped out my very finicky Simmons high percussion scope; that thing would get knocked off if you so much SNEEZED on it!! I replaced it with a quality, tough little Quick Reflex Scope, DANG! What a difference that made.BUT, I had to get rid of the cumbersome old laser too. I didn't have room on this carbine to put it on, without looking junky again. So, when I was looking for a laser, for some reason, I just kept coming back to this same little laser. Aluminium casting. All metal. It fit on my picatinny. And the little --click-on, click-off-- switch worked perfectly. It mounted in a place near my thumb:You will have MUCH MUCH better results if you put this laser on the top rail, or the bottom rail. If you try to SIDE MOUNT this laser, it will not zero in right. It's very important to keep it inline with your rifles barrel...IMPORTANT: The two small set screws in the front of the laser? IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to turn ONE SET SCREW STRAIGHT UP, and the other set screw STRAIGHT OUT TO THE SIDE! SO, when you adjust it, it will be --just a bit up or down...and the sideways set screw will be just a tad left, or right. You see what I mean? If you just put this thing on any old way, and the set screws are off horizontally AND vertically, your going to be very frustrated as you try to "zig and zag" around. Aggravating as hell! Think about that a minute. You set the laser so that it will adjust in a cross pattern, instead of a diagonal one...If ya need help, just leave a comment.EASY TO SET UP.!! Put batteries in, but before you turn it on, look at the tiny hole that the beam will be coming out of......Using the small allen wrench, get it as.close to center as you can. Put the laser site on the rail, JUST BARELY SNUG IT. It will be REALLY CLOSE BUT YOU'LL PROBABLY HAVE TO FINE TUNE IT. Then carefully tighten everything to stay. You may have to wiggle and tighten it up a few times, so it will settle properly. I have bought one of these for everything I've got. Works great on a pistol as well. I'm even thinking about trying one on my Long Bow.

Great product as it will attach to the rail on my shot gun, pistol, or the cross bow I bought from Amazon. Only things I don't like is no matter how tight you tighten it down it still loosens up on the rail system and needs to be retightened. And on mine if I tighten up the end where the button is all the way it cuts it off. I have to be very precise as to where I tighten it up to to have it still work. But awesome laser light

Mounted laser on AR rifle excellent fit small size works great, build quality excellent as good or better than lasers that cost 2 or 3 times more.

Bought this as a tool for swapping out optics and changing batteries on pistol red dots, and not to use as a sight to shoot with. Many of the pistols I own have barrels too short to use a laser in muzzle bore sighter, and the laser rounds made for this are a PITA to calibrate and would require me to have a small collection of the things to cover everything I shoot.I mounted the laser on the chin rail and then zero the beam to where the red dot says it should be. In theory, I can remove the optic and mount a new one, and then zero it to where the laser says it should be.Experimenting with this, if I shake the gun the POI indicated by the laser shifts according to the red dot. At 30ft it's only around an inch or two, but it is moving around. Looking at the thing, I believe it's because the laser itself is positioned by a spring and the two screws and not solidly screwed in.Overall it meets my needs for getting something sighted in enough and then take off, and get to the range and fine tune.

When I ordered This "Laser Sight" for my air rifle, I was hoping it would do better than the laser sights that they advertise on other sites. The reason being is that I needed one that mounted on a 45° picatinny rail. In other words I needed one where I can rotate the laser so that the elevation and windage would be in the upright position. Well, This laser sight was able to do that. It had a set screw which held the cylindrical laser in place. When you loosen this set screw you are able to rotate the laser to your desired position.

I purchased the Pinty Compact Tactical Red Laser Sight from Amazon to use on my Daisy Powerline 426. It came in today about 4:30 pm. Was on time and in great shape. No instructions but not a problem, easy to mount. Fits great and looks great. It is easy to sight in. I really didn't do a great job of sighting it in. I just want to see at 10 yards on 8 inch paper plate with two splash targets how close i got it sighted in. After a couple of adjustments i got it to where i was having fun. Tomorrow i'll fine tune the accuracy for a better pattern. Installing the battery was easy, but the back contact spring that pushes the batteries did not put enough pressure on the batteries so they kind of wobbled inside the holder. So on some of the shots there was not good contact and the laser light would cut of. I took the back spring and stretched it very carefully to give it more length and that solved that problem. I gave this product a 5 because the price 19.99 with the 3 batteries and wrenches was a great. I did make a minor adjustment to the battery spring, but not enough to take away a star. This Laser is just right for my pistol and i would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good pistol laser at a great price. I attached some pictures.

It didn’t work so I couldn’t tell you if the product is a good buy or not. I thought it might have been the batteries but I ordered new ones and it still didn’t work. Be careful if you plan to buy this product.

Compact and it seems well made. Excellent on my .22 but not sure if it would hold up on a high power firearm.

Great product! Brightness of laser is good. Remember to calibrate the laser to your sight. Good quality build. Not like some of the cheap stuff out there.

The laser is very bright and adjustable! the only issue is the back part screws unloose a little too easy and the laser will turn on and off.
