Works amazingly well. Outperforms the cheaper Chinese knock offs by leaps and bounds. This was installed in a Jeep Compass. I did the install myself and it was super easy.

I had a subpar brand unit that failed in my golf cart. I replaced it with this Pioneer MVH-S230BT when it came up on a flash deal. I have been a fan of Pioneer products since the 80's and have never had a problem with their head units, speakers or amps. I still use a 30 year old Pioneer amp to drive two 10" subs in my truck. This MVH-S230BT is a basic non-CD head unit that fits my needs for my golf cart with 4 speakers. I may need to add a subwoofer and this unit has the RCA outputs for an amp/sub. The Pioneer units that I have owned in the past have always had better than average FM tuning and this one is great as well. I get much more FM channels now. All other features work as they should. If you are looking for a quality brand basic non-CD digital media head unit, then this one is recommended by me.

Product connects to radio just fine but does not work with Bluetooth audio with iPhone or USB.I tried to find a firmware update for the product and it is out of date where you can’t even update it anymore

Replaced another head unit I had with this and installation was easy. If you're not sure go to someone to install. Sound quality is good on speakers I have will be upgrading those as well.

Figured it should at least beat 1986 tech for the price. Definitely not disappointed. Great performance.
