Having tried most motion-sensing switches on Amazon, I can confidently say this is one of the best options available. I specifically refer to the model that requires a ground wire. All motion switches need a small amount of power to operate; some use a neutral wire, while others can utilize a ground wire to complete the circuit. Models that lack a neutral or ground wire draw power through the line/load, which is why they require a minimum load of 3W or 5W. I only recommend switches that require either a ground or neutral wire, as they tend to be more stable.I compared this model to four others I was using before discovering this one:Response Time: This switch has one of the fastest response times, activating in less than one second. In contrast, some other switches can take 1-2 seconds to respond.Settings Adjustment: You can easily adjust the settings without removing the switch cover plate. It offers a good range of timeout options.Always-On Option: This model features a small button that allows you to keep it always on (disabling the motion sensor). This is particularly useful in certain scenarios. A few other models offer this feature with a hard slide switch, but they come with other drawbacks.Price: While it's not the cheapest option, it's reasonably priced in the mid-low range. Given its superior features, I have no complaints.Overall, I highly recommend this switch, especially for those looking to save space with the one requiring only ground wire.

like others, i searched extensively to try to find a switch like this. this is the only one i found. the little switch in the corner for manual use works perfectly. it makes it possible to manually turn on the light or turn it off - without a mechanical switch. and it is so easy to revert back to sensor mode - just push the large oval button.the "click" when the light turns off or on is slightly more noticeable than on my previous switches, but no issue at all - still as quiet as flipping a toggle switch manually.the size of the switch is just slightly smaller than the opening in a standard wall plate, so there's a small gap around the edges - that's the only minor issue i've encountered. the manual is understandable, and the programming interface is easy. finally.

I got two of these and love them better than any other motion sensor switches I've owned. They are easy to set the sensitivity and duration which is awesome. The only reason not a 5-star is they are rather noisy as they turn on, which no other sensor I've owned has been.

I’ve installed and used motion switches for many years. When my last one would not turn off, I bought this model.OMG. It’s perfect. Here’s why:It has just 3 wires, no neutral required. Worked immediately first time.Instructions are well written and helpful.It comes with all a modern face plate with hidden screwsIt blinks short green when motion activated.Time can easily be set by pressing white button from 1 to 15 minute shut off.Button also turns on and off manually. Smaller button disables entire unit.You can’t beat the styling, functionality or intuitiveness for less.

I bought this for a simple LED hallway light that's on a single pole wiring setup with no neutral.It was working after I installed it but after 10 minutes the unit just stopped working.Returned

I installed this for the bathroom fan (Panasonic fan about 15 watts). The switch turns on after a second of detecting motion. I have it set to turn off after 30 minutes or the large button can be pressed to turn it off. The lux setting is set to off. Overall, works great.

I had high hopes for this switch, and it worked great for about two weeks and then stopped Amazon was of no help since it was a few days out of their return policy. They provide no way to get in contact with the seller as all inquiries refer back to Amazon and you are stuck in a circular customer service that gets nowhere. I should have heeding the warning that this is a highly returned item and avoided it.
