Unknowingly, I bought the incorrect monitor from Dell since my Mac book air has only 2 usbc ports. Dell created a monitor specifically to that connection and charges more for it. So I found this great alternative!

This cable did exactly what the listing said it would. No muss, no fuss. My laptop only has one HDMI port and I needed it for my drawing tablet, so I needed this cable for my old VGA monitor. I now have the monitor and my drawing tablet connected at the same time and life is a little less complicated. Thanks for a great product!

No issues. It just works for my older monitor with my newer laptop nd the USB 3.1 displayport. Plugged it in, and Windows recognized it immediately. Not much more to say.

Le câble est utilisé sur un NUC de la génération Kaby Lake(7100U). Windows détecte immédiatement que l'écran est branché sur la sortie USB-C. Des tests concluants ont été faits sur 2 écrans, l'un en 1920x1080 et l'autre en 1920x1200. Dans les 2 cas, un seul écran est relié à la prise USB-C du NUC, l'écran est considéré comme affichage principal par Windows.Cependant il faut remarquer que les messages du POST ne s'affichent pas, on arrive directement sur le bureau de Windows, cela veut dire que si on utilise la sortie USB-C pour l'affichage principal, on ne voit passer aucun message du BIOS, y compris erreur, puisque celui-ci ne détecte pas la présence de l'écran. Ce n'est pas un problème en usage courant, sauf en cas d'erreur au boot. Et bien sûr si on vent modifier la config du BIOS. Il est utile de préciser que ce problème n'a rien à voir avec le câble !Un conseil donc, sur un PC à l'heure actuelle, il est préférable d'utiliser la sortie USB-C pour branche un écran secondaire, comme bureau étendu sous Windows par exemple.

The cable works well with my MacBook Pro, I finally have two external monitors working now. Although VGA resolution is not satisfying , it is not the cable problem.
