The USB to VGA adapter works well. It did not come with the install driver CD, but I was able to download it following the instructions (however the instructions were for the wrong adapter, usb to hdmi). The github site does look sketchy. If you have a "perfectly good" VGA only input monitor that you can't get rid of don't want to buy a new one, this will work, however don't expect high quality resolution from an old VGA monitor. All told it works as I expected.

This is blurry at higher resolutions. I would not recommend.

the device requires a MINI cd to install. there is a website but it doesn't look professional at all. This realistically should just be a plug and play device. I don't see why it needs proprietary software. I'll be returning it..
