This product works great however you have to be very patient and continue to follow the instructions listed on the bottle. It seems as if you can tell if you rub the product between your fingers that it removes any grease or grain without feeling corrosive.I don’t have the money for oil analysis but I would venture to say that using your natural product inside your engine is better than a solvent-based flush.I would recommend this product to people that wouldn’t want to have a negative consequence with using a flush because this product is so slow to clean. With it being slow it makes me feel as if it’s not damaging any seals or gaskets.

My grandson's recently purchased 2016 KIA got a check engine light which the scanner said was a failure of the hydraulic VVT system.I put this bottle in the oil and in 3 or 4 days the light was off and the VVT system working like new. A whole lot cheaper than taking it to a mechanic and replacing the valve.

I was absolutely amazed at what this product did for an older car, 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442, that I'd purchased. I poured it in and within five minutes the engine idle speed and oil pressure dropped down to normal. I also used half a bottle in the automatic transmission of that same car and it began to shift more smoothly. In my opinion, this product was worth every penny. I will be using it in smaller amounts as a maintenance dose as suggested by the manufacturer. Just can't say enough about it. Thoroughly impressed.

Not really sure what happened, but I put this stuff in to flush out any gunk buildup and 20 minutes into it running my oil pressure tanked. Can't say it did a good job or not, I'm waiting to pull the valve covers and inspect the timing chains.

Ok so I do not like the price point and I am a chemistry and tribology geek. I much prefer to use cheaper more value added products like Schaeffer's # 131. In this case though nothing else worked! I knew Frank when he was alive and first used his product in what I think was 2005 or 2006?I bought a 2005 Chevy Impala with 3.4V6 for one of my 3 college aged sons about a year ago when he was a senior in H.S.! It had been a bit neglected.For the better part of a year I had been adding more and more Schaeffer's 131 to the engine with each oil change starting with 1 ounce per quart initially and working up to 3 ounces per quart to no avail each oil change increasing the dose. I went to synthetic oil as well. I was beginning to think the rocker bolt was bad.Right before he went off to University I added 3/4 of a bottle of Auto-Rx and with in seconds the lifter tick reduced by 50% a minute or so latter it was gone. 2 months latter he came home and the lifter tick is still gone even on cold start up.In the past I never saw much effect because all of my vehicles are meticulously maintained! Now that I have kids with used vehicles that we just do not know the history off I have to say Auto-Rx has been great! I have 2 bottles in my garage at this very moment!To bad Frank is not still with us! Fast-forward all these years latter and I love his invention! Nothing else like it on the market!

Great product for cleaning gunk inside engine; oil passages, lifters, timing chains and such, unfortunately also gets rid of gunk sealing really old gaskets but then you find where to replace old worn gaskets or! just let your engine wear down due to metal on metal and no oil getting to parts thru tiny oil passages due to gunk. ( Chrysler Engines 🤣)I found that 1 bottle before an oil change then drive for approx 500-1000 miles then change oil and filter ( A GOOD filter and GOOD oil, prefer OEM OIL and filters, not cheap versions) Remember, you get what you pay for!I also add another bottle in with new oil change.Yes, it costs more with purchasing 2 bottles but, 2 bottles or paying for a rebuild.Remember buy 2 new oil filters 1 for for 500-1000 mile oil change and 1 for the next oil change, I personaly change my oil’s after 3000 miles regardless of manufactures specs, but thats my OCD we all have it!As my good wife says,, “ You treat your cars better that yourselfâ€.How true Eh!Be kind, you’ll sleep better.

I have a 04 Suburban with low oil pressure issues. This is the second engine with the issue. Normally i can change the oil when it gets bad and it helps. A year or so ago it failed to help and the engine was tapping very badly and sounded like it was finished. Out of desperation I added a bottle of Auto-RX thinking it might be sludge related. 30 seconds after putting it in the engine the tapping stopped completely. I can now go abot 3000-4000 miles before the pressure becomes an issue and I have to change the oil and add Auto-RX. I have tried other additives that say they help and they either did nothing or made it worse. Within 30 seconds of adding Auto-RX after an oil change the engine always quiets right down.I know this is probably not the intended use or procedure for this product, but it has prolonged my Suburbans life so it gets 5 stars.
