I would have gave a higher rating, but the metal that the crushing frame is made of is very thin. i have modified this with a stronger materiel for the crushing area. the air cylinder works as expected and crushes well. the slim cans are the only cans i have issues with, as they like to shoot out.

This thing has not failed me yet!!!!Although it looks a little rough it's been sitting outside for years, uncovered and never cleaned! Hooked up to a little pancake compressor never goes over 60 psi. I typically recycle 250 to 350 lb of cans a year.

The two hopper guide pieces are pretty much only held in by gravity and then friction tightening the screens. Before long, the hopper works itself loose, has to be readjusted, and will eventually work itself out. Then the screws will work loose because of the action of the machine and you'll loose the screws. If you tighten the screws too much, you'll strip the threads because the metal is fairly soft.Even if the hopper was constructed better, it still would not work very well since the cans bounce as they are crushed and the cans on top will get jammed. They can even bounce right out of the hopper. When they get jammed you need to remove all the cans above and clear the jam. The hopper really needs some sort of weight or spring on top to press the cans down.I had high hopes, but too much dissapointment.

This is the most awesome can crusher you will find on the market. It is a pain in the butt to assemble and the instructions are horrible…but once it is together, you cross to the other side of can crushing.

This device is built very well. Unlike most products (tools) these days, you can tell this device was developed and assembled by people who take pride in their work.

This this is not worth the money at all! It wasn't easy putting together. I crushed maybe 20 cans and the screws came out. They won't go back in. The screws are not strong enough f9r this can crusher. I wish they would give me my money back.

I set it up on plywood and cut hole where cans fall through into large garbage can. Only issue you need to keep count how many in there. Works great!!

So far so good Works great The only thing I would suggest is when you hook up your airline make sure your compressor is empty and then turn it on if not you blow your lines off

We have used this for a couple years now and it is still working. Must check fastener tightness from time to time on assembly screws but otherwise works good.

I've used this crusher for several months now with no issues. It has lived up to the discription. One downside of the product is that the activation stich must be mounted on one side. I'd like to see a simple modification to the engineering that would allow the switch to be mounted on ether side. Currently I am forced to reach over the machine to activate it as I've oriented it to have the feeder on the left side to work with the shelve in my garage. Not an issue if you plan to mount it with the feeder and drop shout on the right hand side.
