We used to have barbed brass fittings in out shop to provide an easy connection from the wall tap to our equipment. The biggest problem came when we needed to reconfigure a setup to diagnose leaks. Taking the rubber tubing on and off the barbed fittings often required lots of force (strength). The tube would pop off very quickly sometimes you would smash you had into whatever was next to, or behind the fitting you were working on.We have since converted over to these push to connect fittings and they are awesome! The installation of the fitting is just as easy with standard threads. And when you need to remove or install tubing you can do it very quickly and without busting your knuckles. Just inserting the appropriate sized tube into opening until it bottoms out and the connection is sealed. To release the hose press the colored collar towards the fitting and pull the hose back. Very easy and quick.

I like that these come pre-wrapped with red tape. The connection to one quarter inch HDPE tubing is very strong. The teeth internally grab on to the tubing very well and the black ring easily releases the tubing.

Works great. Comes with integral thread compound. Just ensure you push hard when inserting air tubing.

They work as intended and seem to be good quality. However be sure to confirm thread sizes if useing multi-port solenoids. ( two sizes per port depending on use)

The connectors worked verry well ad they were used to build a solar panel to run lines to be heated by the sun to heat pool.All of them worked perfectly as I expected them to do.Great purchase and buy for the money involved.Got them all on time as stated.ThanksL. David (Winnipeg, MB, CAN.)
