Finally found a good o pipe gauge,these are pretty hard to purchase and find down over here in southbay,made out of good o sturdy material.

An asbestos contractor removed the asbestos from my steam pipes, and I replaced it myself with Manson fiberglass pipe insulation. My house has seven different diameters of steam pipes, so this caliper was crucial for determining how much of each size diameter insulation to purchase. It got a lot of use and worked perfectly. Five stars.

I live in UK and needed a tool just like this one, yes it's in imperial measurements, but that's no issue.Great Purchase, does what I need it for.

Having the instructions on how to read tbe device inside the package would be helpful, had to go back to Amazon to see it

This is a no brainer. If you ever need to know the size of a copper/steel pipe, order one. Twice as true if there is insulation on the pipe.
