It's a little flimsy. It is lightweight. If you're looking to just put in some things and not have to worry about it getting stolen or anything like that then I would say okay this is not so bad with that being said if you're afraid that somebody is going to steal your stuff I promise you they will be able to break into this with no problem. It would literally take a toddler 2 seconds to break this open LOL. But like I said if you are just looking to store something in it maybe some dollar bills or something in your home or maybe have it as a tip jar or something like that then yes it's good for the money that you're paying for it.

As early as the evening of 1/1, coming to the realization that my husband and I would find it nearly impossible to execute “NO CUSSING†as our 2025’s New Year’s goal, we decided to contribute $0.10/swear-word instead.By January 2nd, we determined that $5.00/day (each) would be easier to keep track of and, on some days, not nearly as expensive!! 🤬🤬With the goal of an as-of-yet-declared excursion for January 2026, we know that we’ll be able to plan SOMETHING fun with the $3,650 in the kitty. I also purchased a pack of realistic-looking bills (Amazon B0CXXN9HMM) to deposit into this locked box as a visual incentive for us.Item arrived damage-free. The box is the perfect size for dollars. The lock works well and two keys are provided. However, the plastic box is VERY delicate! The plastic ‘hinge’ that clamps into the bottom’s side — keeping the bottom fastened to the top half of the container — doesn’t seem sturdy enough to survive multiple openings/closings of this box. (Thankfully, I’ll only have to access it every few months to switch out the smaller bills for larger ones). But, if you’re intending to open/unlock it more frequently, I would look elsewhere — for something more capable of surviving that kind of usage.

This broke the 1st or 2nd time I opened it. Also the slot on top is large enough that the money can be taken out without using the key.
