I know it sez 'pond' but I use this netting to foil the hordes of birds that try to raid my berry bushes.I stretch it over fiberglass rodding formed into U-hoops and secure with the stakes in this kit, and the plastic clips that comes with the rod kit. Works like a charm. Keeps the squirrels at bay, too.After the season I collect the netting, rods and stakes and store it for next year's re-use.

The pond netting itself is easy to use and does an excellent job keeping out leaves. The plastic barbed stakes go in easy enough and hold the netting in place just fine. The problem though is with the barbs…almost impossible to pull them back through the netting when ready to store once netting is removed. This is my second netting purchase and I learned my lesson. I do not use the barbed stakes provided. Instead I purchased 8†metal stakes that look like a huge, long staple. They’re easy to install, hold the netting in place and are very simple to remove for storage. I strongly recommend the netting, but not the barbed stakes.

I like the tight pattern. Nice stretch to the net. The material feels like it will hold up all winter. Was able to get it taught across my pond. The plastic spikes worked well. It would be nice if they were a bit longer. Hopefully this net will hold up to any snow fall. For the price, I would buy it again. It’s better than more expensive netting I have purchased in past years.

It does take 2 people to put it up by I have two ponds 12x14 attached 5x9 to cover. I leave it on all year round. It does stretch the older it gets but it certainly catches the leaves and debri and also keeps my fish safe from predators. Well worth using.

Sturdy ,easy to use ,small openings . Easy out of the package product. No twisting or tangling. price was very good also. i have been using nets to keep leaves out of ponds about 15 years.
