Before I bought this pool heater, I was concerned due to reviews. However, it's been a few weeks and it's great. We had our 16x10 oval pool for 2 years. I probably only got in two times before we got this heater. My husband didn't mind our pool being 73 degrees but I was not a fan. Since buying the heater, I am in the pool almost everyday. Here is a couple of things you should know. 1. It takes 3 days to heat up the pool. There is a flyer that states this. You are not going to feel it heating with your hand. I know.. I tried. Be patient. Read the flyer. 2. I didn't need any new wiring. I used a extension cord and it's plugged into the wall. 3. Simple to set up. Remember pool water goes into the filter. Then the water goes into the sand filter (if you have one) and then it goes into the heater. From the heater you connect the tube to the pool so the water can be pumped back in. 4. The heater will leak. I put it on bricks and it's not a big deal. There is a lot of condensation. On a hot day it feels good to sit in front of it. Outside a/c lol. 5. The heater maintains the temp throughout the day/night if you leave it on. The picture was taken at 7:30 am. Hope this helps you. I'm going back in my pool now.

Its not a heater, draws heat from the air, ambient heat, I was disappointed at first, but now I'm liking it.

We got this unit for our natural stone hot tub and though it was leaking a lot, it was heating very well. The leak grew and when I contacted customer service, they immediately offered to replace it. I didn’t even ask. It is working great now and the electric bill is very low. Total electric bill for all the house and the pool is only $120 and the pool is always hot!

Overall rating I gave as one star because there was not an option lower then that. This product does not work at all and it seems to be leaking water from underneath. I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy. Update: Amazon scheduled a pick-up for the 19th so I took the day off work to wait for these morons and they never showed. Then they lied and said that they tried but could not get a hold of me. So now they have scheduled for the 20th, but I have to work so I really won't be here. I spend a lot of money at Amazon. Amazon just lost a customer.

I was cautious about ordering this heater. I wasn’t sure it was big enough to do the job. I was wrong it works great. Keeps my shady pool around 80 all day long. Now we can finally enjoy it. For the price it’s well worth it. I had a few issues with set up and Lynn in customer service was such a help. And today I received a free blue tooth speaker as a thank you. Thanks Lynn!!!😀

It's doing the job, more or less. It's a little frustrating when I set it to 90 and it never really exceeds 87, and even that is a struggle. And it's not exactly cool out. It's June in DC. I don't see how this is going to work in September/October. If it raises the temp from an ambient temp of the high 60s to a water temp of 85, I will be shocked. I will surely update this in Sept when that happens.
