Literally fits in the bell of the clarinet, so nothing extra to carry around. The legs are metal so it seems like it's fairly sturdy.

I love this stand! It is quite compact yet very sturdy. If packs well into itself and is not bulky like done.

Pensé que serÃa más frágil, pero en medio de la batalla que tiene que lidiar en manos de mi hijo, ha sobrevivido con honores.

I've had the K&M stand (which this one appears to be a copy of) for years and it's great. I ordered this one for my daughter, but was disappointed when it arrived, as it is all plastic, not metal (the K&M stand's main part, the "cone", is plastic, but the legs are metal, which is what I assumed this one would be as well based on the description). The stand was noticeably lighter than the K&M, as would be expected, but I did not trust the plastic legs, so I returned it. I ordered the "Jiayouy" brand for a few $ more, and the legs of that one are indeed metal.

This does what it is supposed to do, no problem. I expected it to hold the clarinet tighter, and maybe this varies by clarinet brand. It does the job pretty well.
