This is a good tennis set for a YOUNG, BEGINNING tennis player. We purchased it with the goal of helping our 6 year old, who is newly interested in tennis, practice playing and developing proper playing habits. I was a college level tennis player and this set is NOT meant for me or even a high school level athlete to practice skills, techniques, or match play. The net is shorter (ground to top) than an official tennis net and it is not as wide (left to right) as an official tennis net. If you are purchasing this with the hope of upping your game, training, drilling, or practicing real tennis technique, then you will be disappointed. All of that said, this net is perfect for a "little hitter." Its lower height allows for frequent net coverage for a young, new player. Its shorter width makes it perfect for a driveway space. It is easy to both assemble and disassemble. It seems sturdy and well built. I could see where if you were careless with the net, it could get tangled. However, I think if you take an extra minute or two to carefully wind it up, it will hold up well.It comes with 2 real tennis racquets- frames with tennis strings, not plastic strings. The balls it comes with are the large foam balls used in Quick Start tennis (rebound slowly off the racquet and bounce lower off the ground) and so are ideal for a new, young player. You would not need special Zume balls to replace these... Wilson (and probably other tennis brands) sells the same balls. If your child moves beyond these balls, it would be easy to purchase the next stage tennis training balls, but keep this net and these racquets. I would imagine that even when your child's skill level surpasses this set, it will remain an enjoyable, fun activity but will merely cease to be helpful as a method for improving play. Both my 6 year old and I are enjoying playing with this set. I think it is a great purchase as long as your goals match its intended use.

I don't usually write reviews but this product is awesome. Assembly takes 10 minutes total. The pieces just snap together and you slide the net over the poles. The ability for this to be free-standing make sit real easy for my kids to just carry this to the neighbors yard or cul de sac and play. The included rackets are perfect for kids. Easy to handle. In the 2 weeks that my kids have had this they have already begun to hit multiple shots over the net with ease. It's really making tennis fun for them. The fact that you can pack everything back up into the included bag is also nice. Really nice product at a great price.

The kids really enjoy this product. It is easy for them to move around from the driveway to the road. We live on a cul de sac so the kids can actually play in the roadway. Good for eye hand coordination. Seems to hold up being left outside.

This is a wonderful set! Perfect to keep our kids occupied during these long, difficult days. This set is sturdy yet portable. At 12ft long it’s just big enough to put in our driveway. While, it’s not standard height, it absolutely gets the job done. My children are 11 and 15 years old and keeps them busy for hours. Foam ball is perfect, too!

This is a good value for price.We paid around 70 bucks.The racquet handles had plastic around them and it was stuck on in that old plastic way that started to take the grip off the handles. So we just wrapped them with something else.The net does not sit on the ground evenly if you have the net on, so we have the side weighed down with bricks.Overall, fun and cute and we had a good time with it.Just some quality issues.

The Easter bunny gave this set as a gift to my kids. I have 4 kids, trip boys 11 yrs and a girl 9. Two of my boys took afterschool tennis and liked it.It was super easy to set up and fits nicely in the bag. I love the balls. We have siding on our house and they bounced right off without doing damage. A couple of times they bounced off the kids heads and they did not seemed to be bothered by it. The rackets were a nice size and the kids were able to handle them.For the price this is a great set.

Awesome for kids and adults. Easy to assemble and lightweight. We added a weight to the bottom legs to keep it in place while playing. Super fun and great purchase!

Glad I got it for about 30 bucks. The net came ripped. Rackets has no grips on them but for a couple 5 year olds none of those things seemed to bother them
