I researched dozens of models before buying this one. They all seemed to have the same basic design and the reviews all seemed to point out the same strengths and weaknesses. I saw a coupon for a substantial discount on this one, so I bit the bullet and ordered it. Wow, was I surprised! It went together very easily - probably took about 20 minutes altogether. For reviewers who say the cover doesn't fit over the frame, it's likely they don't have the poles fully seated into the plastic corner joints. The color of the joints is light enough that you can see the shadow of the pipes inside, so just give a slight twist and a little push if they're not fully seated, then the cover fits over everything quite nicely.I quickly figured out a few tricks to get it heated up faster. First, I used only put 2 liters of water into it instead of filling it with the full 3 liters it would accommodate. I figured a lower volume would allow it to heat the water faster and I wasn't going to stay in long enough to use a full 3 liters of water anyway. I also used the hottest water from my faucet for those 2 liters, giving the unit a head start on heating it up. With those two tricks in play, it was producing abundant steam in less than 5 minutes. My first session was 30 minutes at the highest level (15), and there was still a half-liter of water in the unit when I was done, so I will probably keep using both of these techniques going forward. The tiny camp chair they included was a bit of a joke, as many reviewers pointed out. It's sturdy enough, but the support poles are just so close together that they jab into your legs and back, so they're not really conducive to comfort or relaxation. I substituted a modestly-sized adult camp chair (exact same design, just larger) and it worked well. A really large camp chair with full arm rests probably wouldn't work as well, since the unit is relatively tight in size (which is a good thing, since it couldn't heat the space as effectively if the volume were higher). The interior size is just right. I raised and lowered my arms and couldn't tell any difference in the temperature between the top half and bottom half of the unit. It's just large enough to be comfortable without adding extra volume that might reduce the heating ability.I was pleasantly surprised at just how hot it got inside. I didn't measure it with a thermometer, but 10 minutes into my session, I could tell it was definitely reaching a temperature similar to saunas and steam rooms I've used at gym facilities in the past. I had a good sweat going between 10 and 20 minutes in, and the last 10 minutes of my 30 minute session actually took some commitment to stay in because it was so warm. Long story short, if it had been any hotter, I would have had to either shorten my session or turn the heat down, so I'm very pleased with the level of heat it provides. This is set up in an unfinished basement in Colorado that stays around 60 degrees in the winter, so the fact that it was a bit cool outside the unit didn't hinder its ability to heat at all.If the unit continues to function like it did during my first session, I would say it's one of the best investments I've made in home health equipment. The health benefits of sauna have been well documented, so I'm looking forward to regular sessions - particularly following my cardio or weight lifting workouts. This unit had all of the features I was looking for and delivered them at a far lower price than the other units with comparable features. It delivered on every promise and fully meets my expectations. The only question now is how long it will last. The mechanicals are fairly simple, so I'm hoping it will continue to perform for years to come. If it dies a sudden death in the short run, I'll update this post. At this price and with performance this good, I'd probably buy another of this exact model if this one lasts a couple of years or more.

Purchased this sauna and it was lightweight and easy to setup. The portable steam unit works well. Great for athletes to relax and get a good sweat in. Would definitely recommend

Love this so much! Definitely gets some water outsidethe tent from pouring into steamer and stepping out of sauna. I do wish I’d bought a 2 person also. Having a tall sauna is very important for anyone who might be a little claustrophobic or if you have bad knees vs. a short one. This should be in your house!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a portable sauna, but this thing has been a game-changer for my post-workout routine. Setting it up took less than 10 minutes—unfold, plug in, fill the steamer, and you’re ready to sweat. It heats up fast; within 10 minutes, I was sitting in a warm cloud, feeling those toxins melt away. The included chair isn’t fancy but does the job, and there’s enough room to sit comfortably without feeling claustrophobic.I’ve used it after long runs and stressful workdays, and it genuinely helps me unwind. The remote control is handy—I can adjust the temperature without sticking my arm out and breaking the sauna vibe. Steam circulation is even, and I didn’t notice any annoying cold spots. Plus, the fabric holds the heat well without feeling like you’re baking in an oven.Cleanup is simple—just let it cool down, wipe off any moisture, and fold it up. It doesn’t take up much space when stored, which is perfect for my small apartment. The water tank lasts through a good 30-minute session, and I’ve found myself using it more often than I thought I would. It’s like having a mini spa without the fancy price tag.If you’re looking to relax, detox, or just treat yourself, this sauna delivers. It’s surprisingly effective, easy to use, and adds that extra bit of self-care to your week without leaving the house.
