This is a replacement for a similar grinder whose bit froze up on the pin, making it impossible to replace. I have learned that the grinding bit should be removed and cleaned after each use. I clean the inside with a Q Tip and lubricate it with petroleum jelly, reinstalling it on the pin only when ready ro use. I also line the reservoir with parchment paper to make it easier to clean out the sludge.That said, it is a powerful glass grinder, and the different sized bits that came with it make it versatile for shaping and smoothing different sizes and angles of stained glass pieces. The face shield is very effective. The water reservoir feeds to the platform, so an extra sponge is not necessary. It does everything I need it for. Very satisfied.

Better quality than expected for the price, particularly since it came with several bits. Love the fact that you do not need sponges as it disperses water automatically. I use more than one grinder and will definitely get this one again when my others need to be replaced

Had to expand the holes to attach the shied to the rods but works really well.... does a good. Job keeping the grinder net and grinds the glass very wewell.... definitely worth it.... cleaning.the tray.is.a bit.of.hassle but.not.a deal.problem...does a clean job on the glass

This is a perfect little grinder for your home stained glass projects. It works SO well.At first I couldn't figure out how to get the large bits installed (remove a cylinder from the top, fyi). When I wrote in asking about this, I got a very prompt and helpful reply from the seller. I had already figured out how to solve my problem, but I appreciated the good customer service.

I have tried multiple outlets, and different fuse brands to no avail. Now I am left with a grinder out of warranty that blows a fuse every 20 minutes or so.... Great.
