I am returning this because the specs and one of the pics say this is 7.48†x 4.72†wide but it is not, it is actually less than 5†wide x 4.72â€. Therefore the tines are too close together for my needs. However it is a very nice sturdy well-made product. It was shipped loosely without a box and arrived in tact without getting bent at all - holds up very well. The silicone wrap is also very tight and nice. (I already submitted feedback for them to correct the measurement info in the listing.) I would definitely keep this if I needed a potato masher.

Have been looking for this for a long time. I have a brand new set of ceramic cookware and cannot use metal utensils. Had to move my potatoes from the pot to another dish every time I wanted to mash them. What a pain! Now I save time, a dish and warmth by mashing directly in the pot!

Like that its easy to use and clean. Also like that the silicone protects your pot from getting all scratched up if it didn't have it. Don't like that the silicone is a little to thick which to makes my mash a little plumpy. Overall its still a good product to have in the kitchen.

Love this potato masher! Has a great handle, tough & yet silicone finish won’t scratch my skillets! Use it to mash beans and break up hamburger meat for chile.

This attractive masher does it job very well. It is light weight, but sturdy with an comfortable grip. It comes in a convenient size, making mashing more efficient. The thick silicon coating helps protect surfaces and is very easy to clean. I got it in a lively fire-engine red to add some vibrancy to an all-white kitchen.

I haven't used it yet. Probably works well but it's too deep for a standard shallow utensil drawer. Something to consider, depending on your kitchen.
