Should have listened to other reviews. This is best suited for Kindergarten aged kids. The motor bogs down with minimal pressure

Bought this as one of the activities that the kids could do at a birthday party and they all immediately fell in love. Each of them throughout most of the party were just waiting for their turn on the wheel and we’re more excited for this than anything else. It functions really well and was very easy for them to use with minimal supervision. The instructions were very clear and the kit included absolutely everything that you would need.

My 7-year-old son has been studying pottery videos for months and was so excited to get this for Christmas. The first time he put pressure on the clay to form a shape, the wheel completely stopped. It cannot stand up to even the smallest amount of pressure, the key component to making pottery. And it says it's for kids above his age!

Although it was a bit frustrating for my 11 year old to figure out how to shape it, it’s still a great gift! Teaches them patience and persistency. It was easy to set up, but the clay kept sliding off , you really gotta keep it in place when trying to shape. If your child is patient enough, this is a great deal!
