The zinc die cast thread is a ¾” 5 pitch thread that is commonly used with paint tools, brooms, mops and other cleaning tools. Powder coat provides a corrosion resistant, high gloss finish. Opposite of the thread end, a swiveling ribbed plastic hanging grip allows for easy storage at any angle. This handle/pole is great for heavy duty applications. The biggest limitation is the receptacle it screws into - if it's made of plastic, the plastic will likely break with hard use. We use it with a deck brush or wire pool brush to clean algae off rocks on our lakeshore. The algae is slippery and is dangerous for us when we are getting in and out of the water. All our plastic, wood, and aluminum poles have broken, but this one is holding up like it's brand new. Highly recommend.

Great product and very sturdy! I bought them for my business to use with squeegees. We use squeegee religiously throughout the day and these poles hold up very well!! Definitely recommend.
