We converted our 30 amp motorhome to 50 amp. In doing so we needed to replace the automatic transfer switch for our generator. This fit in the same space as the 30 amp one. The quality of the connectors and electronics was superb. Works great.

Not try to slams PowerMax to bad,I use their products all the time and am very happy with their converters. Say that this was the first time I ever used one of their transfer switches. Once I got it wired it worked great, the problem I ran into was that all the wires shoer power, generator and RV power supply all came in the same direction. Unlike the WFCO where the shore power and generator came from one side and the output or RV power supply came from the back sideThe only real problem with is the manufacturer of the RV did not allow enough wire to have all 3 “power cords†to come in the same side.2nd the foot print of the PowerMax box was a lot bigger than WFCO due to all 3 lugs being in a roll compared to 2 of them being unlined and I barely had enough roomI felt like if they would tighten up just a little bit it would have been a 5 Star

Second time using the rig, would only buzz and switch one leg, only a 30 day warranty if you message amazon in time. $200 down the drain and had to buy another one.

Purchased two of these one works great one burned up within 88 days. Call for warranty was told no available items talked with Amazon Amazon has them in stock but will not warranty even though it was under the warranty. Started the case was told it would be taken care of Amazon failed to come through as they stated they would.1 Year later #2 has failed to work It's in an RV and was only used like 10 times. Save your money and buy a Go Power!

The holes for the wires are small but I did finally get them in and it works perfectly.

this item works great, only gripe is the wiring diagram was a little confusing and the terminal connections could be larger to suppport the wire gauge.Many people use this for connecting battery bank and interter to their RV so the battery charger as well as the shore power is powered from one set of terminals so the inverter doesn't power the battery charger making the connections a little tight.Aside from that, once you figure out what connections to make, the switch works flawlessly. Really cool.
