There are included directions for how to use it and they both work like a champ. I was getting extremely irritated trying to find hexagon centers until using the square one and wow this made it easy.

I have a lot of templates and use circle ones daily. I wanted a larger one for finding the center and for laying out pieces, something easier and quicker then a compass. I would buy this again.

Just received my lathe tools from Powertec, they are way better than I expected, package was in perfect condition, went to my garage to try them out, nice and sharp, well balanced and easy to hold while using, would recommend for any woodworker, I've bought a lot of items from Powertec from sandpaper to woodworking tool and never have been dissapointed.

I handcraft jewelry and other crafts and I use a LOT of circles. This was worth trying, to find the center of my circles and I then can make a template. For me, it was just a much needed, useful item. Easy to use, a no brainer. Love it!
