Pros:Compatibility: These bench dogs fit perfectly into the 19mm bench holes, providing a secure hold.Versatility: They work well with a vise to clamp workpieces, making them versatile for various woodworking tasks.Quantity: The pack of 8 is very convenient, allowing me to use them simultaneously in two vises on my workbench.Price: Considering the price, the value is quite good for the number of bench dogs included.Cons:Material Durability: The plastic construction is somewhat delicate. It can be easily torn apart if it comes into contact with hand tools like saws or chisels. Power tools will cut through them even more easily, so caution is necessary.Rubber Inlays: The rubber inlays tend to fall off easily and can be lost. I ended up removing them entirely because they didn't stay in place. However, they might be useful for holding a workpiece without clamping while finishing it with oil or paint.Overall:Despite the issues with durability and the rubber inlays, I am happy with the product for the price. The bench dogs hold well, fit perfectly in the bench holes, and the quantity allows for flexible use across multiple vises. If you're careful with your tools and mindful of the plastic material, these bench dogs are a useful addition to any workbench setup.

Inexpensive, fits easily in 3/4 hole. Soft pads cushion well without scratching. Great for light work. Only issue is the pads do lift out if stuck to work.

Nothing fancy pants here but they are great to have around. They fit all existing holes in my bench and are really handy when I need a quick holder in another board or on my portable tables or sawhorses. Just pop a hole where needed and off you go. I keep a few in the shop, and a few in the travel bag. If you have a workshop, need a stop to keep your work stable, these are perfect - all at a great price. Even though they are plastic, I have no fear they'll outlast me.

Yeah, they're plastic but plenty sturdy when set in the hole. Only thing that could be improved is the foam pads on top. They pop out easily. I dropped a little glue on the underside and solved that problem.

These bench dogs are exactly as described. They fit into the 3/4" holes in my workbench. They work well for my relatively lightweight applications. The replaceable spongy pads inserted into the top of the dogs are pretty soft. They are also grippy. Keep in mind these are plastic, so you may not be able to put a lot of clamping pressure on them. For my use they are perfect. I don't do any thing requiring heavy clamping forces. If you do, you may want to consider something made out of metal. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

I drilled dog holes in my workbench yesterday. I drilled 3/4 inch holes and these fit in them fine. they fit in the holes snug so they stay in place and don't easily turnaround. I did not get them for this reason but they will be great to put a board on top of them and drill holes. The top of them are soft and would help hold the board in place.

For My small shop I acquired a small workbench with undersized dog holes which I reworked to 3/4”… I’ve never used bench dogs and decided to try these PowerTec 71500 Deluxe Bench Dog… These dogs are solid and sturdy with No Slip Grips on the top which help hold your work piece which keep your work piece elevated if needed… The phenolic dogs base is split which helps keep it tight in the holes.. I highly recommend these POWERTEC Bench Dogs

As advertised, these bench dogs fit snug and hold items securely. I've tried using them as risers for cutting as well and I have found that a bench clamp is good to have to keep pieces from moving. All in all a good purchase that won't break the bank!

I don't know why I waited so long to get these bench dogs or any dogs for that matter. No more having to slip a small piece of wood under my work piece. There are lots of dogs out there that are double to triple the price of these. Why do they need to cost so much or made out of aluminum? For my portable worktable when out on the road I use the Worx Pegasus folding table and these dogs fit perfectly inside the dog holes and the orange colors kinda match. My only caution would be for the black 22mm foam inserts inside the dogs. They are a fairly soft foam that is easily squishable by hand. Not sure how long they will last. May have to search for a cork-like or rubber stopper to fit if they wear down.

make sure your holes are the right diameter and these little doggies will sit just fine - it’s important to get a tight fit with your hole otherwise the little doggy will pop out
