First hybrid inverter I have owned. I worked in electrical engineering but this unit was easy to install and it has operated 3 months so far. We live in Nebraska and for some reason our public power grid fails 6-8 times a year. We have lived in the country 24 years now. Due to my failing health, we wanted a portion of our house power to have back up power. Freezer, refrigerator, most lights, microwave, computer, router and main tv. This 5Kw system with 5,000 watts of battery will provide power for 8 to 16 hours. This allows me time to start a generator if needed and not need the generator for at least 1/2 a day. Eventually we will add solar panels and maybe more batteries. For about $2,200 we have a system that makes life easier. We added a second breaker panel for the 6 circuits we selected. If necessary, this panel could easily be connected back to the grid if the PowMr failed. Highly recommend, good value for the cost. We have not noticed any power glitches even when testing the system.

Muy satisfecha con mi inversor a cumplido su función muy bien más de lo esperado lo recomiendo mucho también es muy útil para enviarlo para cuba ya q ay muchos apagones y con baterÃas se le puede dar corriente a todo en la casa.se los recomiendo

Clearly the unit had been installed. Seeing it was such a problem to install. Plus so much stuff is nonlonger available. I was bummed when Inopened it and saw the instructilns outnof the plastic wnvelope. Also felt horrible looking at the lcd and seeing all the scuffs. It still has the original screen protector sonforrunately most likely not damaged. The parallel feature doesnt seem to work.

Piece of Chinese crap worked for 2 days before first alarm. Loaded this 5kW inverter up with my 2000 W hot water heater and it failed. Took 30 days for the Chinese POS to fail. DO NOT BUY THIS CHINESE MADE PRODUCT. Aims inverters are engineered and manufactured in Reno NV. Buy US.

I own 4 of these right now configured for split phase 220v production. So far I have not had any issues with these once I had them configured properly. I started out with only a set of these, but because I was powering a well along with our RV (which was 120V only) I would sometimes overload one of the units since I could not split up the 120 between the 2 units to power the RV connector. So I had to get 2 more and link them together so that now 2 units could power the same 120v legg that the RV what hooked up to. So far I have used these as our only source of power in an offgrid configuration for over a year with no problems. The PV input appears to support the entire specified wattage in the specs, but we went with High Voltage rather than amps. Another reviewer said they could not pull full amps on the solar charger, so just adding in my experience that it at least does work if you go voltage over amps.One other thing, The AC input on these appear to be too sensitive for dirty generator power. they kind of work, but the generator constantly goes up and down as if its pulsing the load on the generator. I suspect if we were actually using a cleaner inverter sourse or landline power we wouldn't have this issue. I got around that problem by just adding an EG4 Chargeverter to our system to handle the generator charging as needed, bypassing the internal AC chargers in these units. If I decide to connect utility power to the property, I'll then try hooking it up directly to these units and see if they work correctly then.Update: been going strong for 2 years now, offgrid setup. I do not use the AC in function, so I still can't talk to that part. but they are still working well as solar chargers and Inverters. We now also have a 600 ft cabin attached to the RV pad that is also being powered by these with no issues.

Everything is good and satisfactory after one year of operation, especially the technical support was great in helping me solve any trouble I came into.
