The set-up is confusing, hard to see and didn't charge my batteries. Messed with this thing for 6 months while it worked when it wanted to and actually fried my stereo and WiFi router. Recently purchased a name brand unit and now my batteries are charged after only 3 days. For me anyways, this controller is junk. Could have been faulty, I don't know, but be careful if you buy this.

This is the second one i purchased. The first one didn't seem to work. Almost sent the second one back, for same problem. Just happened to catch a glimpse just before I did. The display is very hard to see, especallyduring the day. The one I sent back might have been good? No other cons except hard to see, not a good back light..

I believe it is working as it should. Easy set up. The only thing is the digital screen is hard to see in the day time outside. The back light is faint. YUCCAA THE RAPPER

This controller has worked well for a year but the display is so dim you cannot read it except at night. And the button to turn on the display also activates another feature.

I’m just so excited to have my solar connected. I have this hooked up to my bus batteries, and an inverter so I can run power tools. There is one input on the controller that falls out regularly, at least twice a week. I’m not sure if it’s the connector on the cable or the input on the controller. I just have to keep an eye on it. But I’m happy it’s all hooked up.

If had the controler for about 2 moths now and iv been fighting an uphill battle with it. I have a 100 ah 12.8 v lifepo4 battery that I’m trying to charge with it and no matter what setting I press or dial I turn the control attempts to charge my battery at like 20-25 volts which is way to much for it. I though that maybe it was thinking that It was connected to a 24 volt battery but I already checked every setting twice to make sure it did not charge over 14.5 volts and that it was set to a lithium battery. Sometimes it would work great, charging at the voltage and amperage that I needed it to but that would only last for maybe 10 minutes before forgetting my setting and upping the charge voltage to 25 volts and freaking out the battery which would then stop charging.

The instructions are chinglish, but have pictorial guides which help. The adjustable parameters, like low voltage lights off control settings and hours usage provide good controls for off grid usage. Very easy to install, plug and play and screw into place. *Note to Canadians and those in cold climates: the LCD display can NOT be subjected to freezing, or it will potentially lose function. This also applies to potential damage from cold during shipping. The first time I ordered one of these, it was a winter replacement, and it lost some visual function from being exposed to cold. All settings still function, but the screen is harder to read. My second purchase for another solar bank has been excellent and without issue.
