I admit that I balked at first, at the price for this rather basic stand. However, after years of balancing practice pads on various surfaces and having them slide about, I am thrilled to have a rock solid mount now, for my Remo. Aside from the vibration- and loosening-free connection to the stand, I like the legs which, when spread to their maximum width, provide extra stability by allowing me to place a foot on each of two of the "feet" . The only tiny drawback is that, when slamming the pad from full height, at dead center, the stick tip can crash into the mounting bolt at the bottom of the pad, if the head on the pad is less than extremely tightly tuned. Obviously, this is remedied by striking the pad just a touch off center. Just be aware that, if you're looking at the pad itself for the first time, it is NOT whisper quiet, but quieter than most. (I've received no complaints from my condo neighbors). Recommend highly.

Happy. I now have four of these in my living room. I set them up likethey are timpani and practice with them to learn my positioning so that I canplay better in the orchestra. Drum set simply will not work for this purpose.I also use this with the pictured practice pad when I teach snare drumlessons and encourage the student to have one just like it at hometo practice the drum rudiments on etc. without driving the whole familyand neighbors nuts. If you are driving everyone nuts around you, youwon't be willing or allowed to practice much, so this works very well. The remo practice pad (even though this review is about the stand)gives the real rebound. Please note that Stagg practice pad is muchwhimper that this one. I have them both and much prefer the remo.

This is exactly what we needed and as described. We are thrilled with how easy it is to adjust. Purchased for my 10yr old who is able to adjust it on his own.

Perfect for stability and flexibility. Able to get my drum pad to the perfect height and angle for playing.

Works fine, but I think this is quite expensive for what it is. This is a light-to-medium weight, single-braced stand with quite cheap adjustments.

Very pretty and steady on the ground. Yet the screw doesn’t fit into the bolt hole of my Vic Firth 6†pad :(

This stand “claims†to fit most practice pad sizes, but after trying the 4 different pads I have, it didn’t fit a single one. Reno uses a screw so small, your best bet is to ‘ALSO’ buy their practice pad as well. With that being said, Remo’s practice pads are definitely not the best, and I have bought practice pads half the price of theirs that work, feel and sound way better. This is sad that they feel the need to use a screw size that is the least common. Having practiced drums and percussion for almost 20 years, the screw they picked is the least common I’ve ever seen. Another sad attempt at getting people to spend more money.

Bon produit. Attention cependant à ne pas commettre la même erreur que moi. Je pensais que l’article était complet. Ce n’est pourtant que le pied. Ainsi prix un peu élevé d'où les 3 étoiles.
