I only wish I had a skinnier pencil...The slots are very narrow and I need to shave my graphite end very precisely.

I was expecting a little bit of sanding because it’s laser cut. But the slots haven’t been popped (look at the picture). Three stars due to an unfinished product.

Upon opening the package I noticed oxidation and rust on the back of the protractor. Once I removed it fully I noticed the 90 degree line was not cut completely through and the metal was still attached. The laser etching burned the finish on the face at the start and end of each cut. Returned right away. Will replace with the Incra protractor. Don’t waste your money!

It's pretty small. If you're a man and have man hands, you should get something larger.

I hear people complaining in their reviews about having to push out the laser cut blanks. If they are anywhere near aspiring to being an engineer, then they would know that part of an industrial laser cutting process involves leaving a 'sprue' where the very last bit involves a little manual intervention as the blank will uphold the quality integrity before us monkeys push them out when the product becomes ours.To those that say "oooohh these little blanks are sharp and can cause a health and safety issue" then my advice is to stay in bed all the time and don't make your morning coffee in case you scald yourself on the by-product of turning water into a gas. But by staying in bed when you want to get up to go to the loo, you may slip on your bathroom floor. Everything whatever you do or don't do has a risk.I've found that using a small electricians screwdriver the blanks pop out easily and if you do it over the table there is no risk to your pet piranha accidentally ingesting it then biting you child and passing the steel into it's body. At least it's stainless, so no harm done unless it works itself into the brain. If you want to use a safe protractor then buy one of the plastic ones they sell for the schoolkids.Me, I prefer to use something a little more accurate. They are not as spot on, as we'd have liked when working in the toolrooms in the 60's and 70's using Moore & Wright stuff but they're "close enough for government work" as the saying goes. I've measured the accuracy with a couple of laser levels and they'll do me for what I want. I don't think they'd be great for measuring a beam of light from 200 light years away. But in 200 years time who cares? Yeah the protractor works for me.

Robust, solid and accurate. Holes for each angle are quite small, though. Please note that the whole thing needs to be cleaned, it has a layer of machine oil and dirt, especially the underneath - so be careful if you are going to use it on a sheet of paper ot surface which could be soiled.I deducted 1 star because of the grime.
