About this item

  • EASY TO OPERATE: The 929D-V desoldering pump is a combination of soldering iron and desoldering, designed with a "vacuum" button, you can easily remove the solder on the circuit board by tilting it up,which can enjoy one-hand continuous desoldering.
  • HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS: Made of ABS material, with anti-skid handle, nylon nozzles,Unlike the old-fashioned desoldering gun, this solder sucker is plugged into the power plug, and the desoldering is preheated for about 3 minutes, and the process of tin melting/absorption can be performed, Comfortable grip.
  • THOUGHTFUL DESIGN: We have matched 2 kinds of desoldering tips with different diameters (φ1.0mm & φ1.2mm), which can be replaced with different desoldering tips according to different solder joints to prevent clogging, We also paired with a cleaning needle to further prevent clogging problems,Note: Replace the nozzle after the soldering iron has cooled down completely.
  • WIDELY USED: Desoldering pumps can be used to correct small board errors on the PCB, re-soldering and desoldering, removing relays and other components from the printed circuit board, etc. To meet your various soldering needs.
  • VALUE PRODACT: There are also two built-in gaskets. If you feel that the suction is too small, it may be that the gaskets are aging, and the strong suction can be restored after replacement. 30 days no reason to return or exchange, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions!

These work great, i was looking at the other kinds and I am glad I went with this. I used them for desoldering Xbox joysticks and they made the job so much easier.

I've recently gotten into electronics work and retro console refurbishment specifically. A common task is replacing capacitors and using a desoldering wick gets old really fast. As a hobbyist, I can't justify purchasing a Hakko FR301, and the cheaper clones seemed a bit questionable. I decided to give a manual desoldering sucker a try and I don't regret it one bit. It's very easy to operate one-handed, and once you get some practice in, it's very quick.I started using the bigger nozzle, and while it worked pretty well, I often needed to go back through with a wick to get components to pop loose. After getting a bit more practice and switching to the smaller nozzle, this thing is working awesome. Components often pop loose after the first suction attempt, or wiggle free after tapping them with the iron. I've also removed nearly 50 components without damaging a single solder pad.Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with how effective and quick this manual desolder pump works. My last project was removing 31 capacitors from a Sega Genesis and I was able to accomplish this without any major hiccups in about a half hour. This would have taken me hours with the a desoldering wick. The only real unknown is the longevity, but I do see that spare tips are available and will be ordering some just to have on hand.

Sometimes the old style of things work better, this one being no exception. A brilliant piece of ingenuity taking the old reliable but clunky large spring suction tube design and adding a heated tip. Massive burst of suction for those tiny holes that you just cannot seem to get open. Worth every penny.BTW, the other vacuum pump unit still works better on larger holes supplying long-term suction.

I bouth two times this product, it looks and seem very good, the first time due the last storm in United States the item did not arrive, however Amazon makes the refund as they are very serious and responsibles, the second time the item arrive but the case did not include 4 (four) pieces, the support, the 2 spare parts nozzles and the pin for clean. I try the product desoldering for about 30 minutes and the nozzle was burned and broken, now with out the spare part the suction is not good. When I receive the product the looks little burned as you can see in the photo near to the package, that photo was just open, so I have the little idea it was used, that is why I did not receive the complete parts. Hope the manufacturer can receive it and could send me the lacking parts

I used it for the first time today it worked well it was Abe to remove most of the solder from the throw holes I did gave to add bit more solder because it didn't want to come of but one thing that I realized tha was alarming was when I turned it on for the first time there was smoke coming out of it

I repair CNC PC boards now and then, having to remove push buttons with 4 pins is hard with a regular desoldering tool. This tool is so easy and works great, put over pin when hot wait a few seconds and release the plunger. Picked up all the solder and cleaned the hole out. I was able to slide the switch right out and right into the board I was repairing. Did not have to adjust any of the pins and it was quick and easy. I would recommend to anyone needing to desolder and multiple pin pieces on a PC board.

Got this to do some desoldering of dip package chips on old NES boards. This product makes quick work of it. The learning curve is easy. So long as you have the surface flush with the chip, you'll have good suction and it should pull the solder up on the first or second attempt.I've managed to desolder about 5 NES PPU chips with this tool alone and haven't had any issues. It's pretty easy to remove the solder from the canister tooA good tip: don't twist the tool against the board when working with small traces, just wiggle it a bit. Don't hold the tip in place for more than a couple of seconds at a time. If working with old joints, try re-tinning them with a dab of new solder and some flux before trying to use this tool to remove the solderI think this tool is an adequate replacement for something like a Hakko for most casual hobbyists at a fraction of the cost, and I don't think it's really any harder to use to get the same end result.

Just tried it today, and it works better than I expected. In fact it works great. I don't do desoldering often enough to justify spending hundreds of dollars for a desoldering tool. This one is very reasonably priced (~10x cheaper than motorized desoldering iron), and for occasional job it's a fantastic tool.Today I've desoldered a chip with 26 pins. With this tool it was an easy job, much much easier than would be without this tool. In most cases it removes ALL solder from a pin on first try!UPDATE 2025-03-07: I've liked it so much, I bought a second one. On the photo are a few chips of many which I've desoldered. It takes some time to warm up, and there is no temperature control, but for the money it's a fantastic tool, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I wasn't sure it's going to work well, but I already have a few tools from this brand (Preciva), and they all work great, so I decided to give it a try, and now I have one more tool from Preciva that works great.

For the price, this thing is amazing. I have never had success with manual solder pumps that you use in conjunction with an iron, but this thing being an all in one unit works incredibly well. Also, I thought it was going to be cheap and plastic feeling but it actually has a good amount of weight and feels pretty solid and nice. The only complaints I have are that it says it has a "heating indicator" but there is no light or anything to indicate when it has reached temp and there is no temperature adjustment, so I don't actually know how hot it gets (so be careful when using it on delicate electronics). Also, there is no way to vent the chamber so when you push the plunger back down after sucking in solder while using flux, it pushes it out large, fast streams of hot flux steam.

Works very well, needs some time to master. It has no heat limiting, so you must switch it off within 10 mins to avoid it melting itself. The tip will wear off within 200 suctions, afterwhich its hole will become too wide and ineffective. Buy a pack of tips for it as other reviewers suggested.Overall, very good for the price, does its job, but needs extra care and maintenance. Much better and faster than a regular sucker pump.

I managed to solder a 20-pin component upside down (poor reference images). I needed to remove it with as minimal damage to the component and circuit board as possible, and manual vacuum pumps aren't quick enough.I looked, and most desoldering irons are hundreds of dollars and have an electric vacuum pump. This one was $25 and used a more standard manual solder pump. I figured "what's to lose?" for $25.It came, and FIRST TIME I fired it up, it sucked out ALL of the solder on the pin! So then within 10 min I had completely desoldered that 20-pin component and had it out cleanly. After that, I used the desoldering iron to remove a couple of other pesky components and headers. Every time it sucked out all the solder in one or at most two trys. This ranks among one of the best tool purchases I've made for the ease of use and awesome results.Excellent tool (and inexpensive too!).
