No instructions whatsoever on how to adjust this pressure switch, plus, my gauge came sprung and broken and unable to be used. I would stay away and get something else. I want mine to pop off at 145 psi, but there are no instructions on how to adjust this and so far I'm sitting at 180 psi and it has not stopped running so I manually shut it off.EDIT. Apparently under the cover there are instructions but they are a little vague. I did raise the rating from 1 to 2 stars because I would have never thought to look under the cover except for a blurb I saw on a youtube video.

My old tank compressor blew a gasket. This little gadget did the trick and brought it back to life. Replacing the old shut off valve was OK, taking pics before removal helped to reinstall the new one. It works great.
