Brand Story
In 1995, Thomas Robert Hargreaves initiated his venture in Morecambe Bay, England. He designed and built a wall-mounted clock displaying real-time tide positions.
TABIC was founded in November 1997. Offering high-quality tide clocks. Thomas expanded his business with barometers, thermometers, and time clocks. In 2009, his son Daniel and wife Fay joined the company and introduced a whole new range of Moon phase and Gardening clocks and English Oak mounts and transformed the company into a family business.

The barometer is not operating. I’ve verified the pressure using the local weather station in several weather events and the barometer hasn’t moved.

Bought on prime day and was so excited because I had been searching for a nice barometer for our coast home. Took it to the coast and hung it up. Checked the weather station up the road and their numbers changed while mine stayed exactly the same for two weeks (rain and shine). I sent that one back and got a replacement, thinking that maybe it is a one off issue. So far this one isn't doing much either. I'll wait another week when a low pressure system is coming but so far very disappointed in something that looks so good.
The Reality Of It:

Arrived super fast. It’s immediately obvious that it’s a quality product. However, the chrome is noticeably scratched/scuffed up around the instrument face. Also, in my case, the glass has smudges on the inside surface that you (obviously) can’t clean off. It is, however, absurdly accurate. And for that reason alone I am disinclined to send it back despite its cosmetic flaws. The wait time on the comparable German products is considerable.

This barometer stays at the same point no matter what the weather is. If it’s raining the barometer reads fair and sunny. I think the hand made in England was Amazon’s input.

Worked ok for about two weeks. Now it is stuck on stormy and wont move. Bad omen?
