The chisels that come with this kit are very brittle metal and can snap just by dropping them. They are sharp and cut well into plastic, so decent scribing kit for hobbies like gunpla. Just do NOT drop the chisels. Luckily its cheap and easily replaced.

Opened the product up, and found the blades stored in a small plastic case with all of them COVERED in oil. 2 of the blades had the tips broken off, looked like they had been blunted or snapped due to an impact on the end. The handle itself has random sharp edges on it, making it super uncomfortable to hold, along with all the chisles edges being rough to the point that the non live edge is sharper then the chisel itself. Tried to see if I could make it work and got a few lines deep, but the edges were all rough, as the sides of the chisel are like sandpaper. Have had better lines with a craft knife sharpened to a 35° angle, and will have to go back to that until I can find an alternative

pretty good for the priceThe handle is light but i dont use that anyhows.The sribe bits are surprisingly solid for what they are, the super thin ones look like they'll break if bent the wrong way, but they are supper thin...But i've only used them super thin ones and they've been fine thus far. Bought this a month and a bit ago now and put the bits through their paces.Overall cant go wrong with the price of it all.Not used on any gundams though, been using on warhammer terrain and the like, but scratching plastic is all the same really....

These scribes work very well creating clean lines. The handle is comfortable allowing you a smooth, precise draw.To the reviews describing breaking on of the smaller tips; this is a craftsman’s tool and must be handled with finesse to achieve superior results. Highly recommended!
