Your cart is empty.This mailbox lock is constructed from diecast and it comes in a nickel plated finish. It uses ILCO 10003M as used by Cutler Federal, and it is keyed different from others. This mailbox lock includes two keys, one cam and a spring steel locking clip. The key for this lock rotates in a counter clockwise direction to engage lock.

It fits my mailbox perfectly. Easy to install. Comes with lots of different options to choose the correct one for your mailbox. .I took 1 star off because it doesn't come with the clip that keeps it tightly in place. So be sure when you're replacing your old lock, keep the parts until you're finished installing the new one. Because you're going to need that clip. And luckily my old lock had a spacer on it, otherwise the new lock wouldn't hold in place tightly like it should since it doesn't come with a spacer, either. It will be too loose without it. Or at least mine would have been.Overall, this is a good mailbox lock. I'd recommend it.

No problems installing in a USPS approved box. It had several option for the catch. Better than the old lock. It shuts tight now.

No reason to spend more. Took a minute to install. Small compromise is a small pressure plate to hold it in from the back rather than a bolt, but seems adequate

Many clips are provided, so you can adapt the lock to fit almost anything. I put the lock on a metal cabinet, and it fit perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a cheap lock replacement/install since it's so easy to use and has great functionality.
