These SP 9616 Handyman single loop closed extension springs are constructed of durable spring steel, and they come finished in a beautiful, corrosive-resistant, nickel-plated finish. Wasn't able to find this exact size locally, so I turned to Amazon. Sound exactly what I needed and got it quickly. This spring was for a custom project, and worked exactly as I hoped it would. Nice finish and well built.

PSA: if your planning to use this to mod your Silverado gas pedal return spring; I would highly advise against it. Tried it and made the truck feel really sluggish. Took the bouncy jerky feeling away but not worth it in my book.

I used this for my 05 Duramax "gas" pedal. It helped a lot. Just don't expect it to solve the problem with the jerky pedal.

Spring is ridiculously stiff and doesn't have a lot of give, making it difficult to install or get the hook ends around whatever you need to attach.
