I absolutely love using this compass, it’s compact, fits in my shirt pocket, is easy to use and is made of metal, not plastic! As a math teacher, I have to be able to quickly assess and be able to help students use and understand drawing circles, this is great for that!

Looks great, and it works. For this price and style this compass is perfect for my doodles. I LOVE that it folds up like a pen. I haven't used one of these since elementary school so I'm on a learning curve but I'm sure higher quality compasses exist.The pencil part of this arrived looking slightly different than the photo. I think it is an upgraded model or one of two models of this product. The pencil is completely open at the end, and the photos show it to have a cap like a normal mechanical pencil. I thought it was missing so amazon sent me a new replacement but the replacement is the same so I'm assuming the pencil is supposed to be that way. The compass is still fully functional so don't think yours is broken if the pencil is open at the end.

This is the cutest, most discreet compass. My kids get ahold of my compass and end up breaking out, this just looks like a regular pen, I love it! And it's a super great price! World will, congress with extra lead, and an eraser. It's a great travel companion, has a pen cap so you can wear it in your shirt pocket

It doesn't keep the distance set. My daughter needed it for her math homework and the compass would widen as she was making her circles.

The compass is easy to use. I was able to draw several circles without any issues. The compass holds its angle, ensuring the circle is completed correctly. It comes with several pieces of 0.5mm pencil replacements for the compass. The lead is easy to refill when necessary. The pencil container unscrews, and you load a piece of lead into it. Then you screw it back in after using the nib to load the lead. The enclosed eraser is not of good quality, but most people have a quality eraser at home, in school, or in an office. I used the compass on drawing paper. The center point left a tiny dot mark on the paper. The compass will likely mark soft surfaces like a wooden or cotton canvas. I appreciate that this compass has a cap to protect both the point and pencil. The cap ensures it will not be damaged when in storage. This compass is of good value and is excellent for most uses.
