The bends are totally wrong. (1970 Monte Carlo) It hits the trans tunnel before it can make the downward turn into the port on the trans. If you're goal was to get it awkwardly jammed behind the modulator, this is the one for you. The grommet is too thick and doesn't allow it to fit in the trans side. The end that goes into the transmission isn't tapered as it should be. It's a different diameter than OEM. I don't know what this fits, but it's definitely not for A-body cars, and it's definitely not th400. I ended up trying to tweak it to just get it down to the trans only to find out it was wrong anyway. How do you mess up something as simple as this? Read the other 1 star reviews. I had most of the same problems. You will too.

Looks nice, but it came in black and not as advertised.....but I like black better so OK....at this point can't get the dip stick out of the tube....locking mechanism works fine and no obstructions....no dents or issues I can see, but feels like it's been epoxied in....I'll work with it some more and hope I don't need to send it back...UPDATE....finally with 3 people pulling on it , the stick came out....seems the 2 bends at the end of the stick that are aimed at positioning and holding at the end were at a steeper bend than needed...without re-shaping them to much, got it to where it's snug and easier to remove....good thing is it won't EVER fall out or leak.....nice for the price
