To be fair, I did like this headset a lot except for one thing, the AM reception was bad. At 70, I prefer talk radio. The headset was comfortable with a well padded headband, better than others that I looked at. The Bluetooth worked great, it was loud and clear with no complaints from the caller's end. I took other reviewers suggestions and set my phone volume to the highest setting. When I got a call, the music stopped and my cellphone ringtone came over the headphones. I then answered the call and when the call ended the music came back on. FM reception was great. Setup was easy. The1st one that I received just came in the box, with no wrapping. I suspected that it was used and returned it. I did not even try this set. The 2nd set came packaged the same way. Guess it is just poor packaging, I did expect it to be wrapped and sealed. It did come with a nice carry bag however. As noted, many AM stations came in weak with an annoying almost pattern like tapping, clicking noise. I would have kept them but for this. I have since purchased 3M Bluetooth AM/FM worktunes from Amazon. So far all is good! The AM reception on this unit is marginally better and acceptable but being AM, it will never rival FM. In retrospect, too bad I didn't try the 1st Prohear headset to see if that one worked OK. Give Prohear a try, it may work for you!

I am revising my earlier review of this PROHEAR headset. Initially when I ordered the headset it had a problem with the AM band. The FM band was ok and received stations well and sounded pretty good. The AM band though was not able to pick up stations and all there was is a shushing noise. The headset is well made and looks durable.In contacting support for PROHEAR they gave some ideas to look at. We were not able to solve the problem and they were kind enough to issue a refund. But support was better than that. They wanted to know more about the problem and asked if I would send them the defective product for analysis and they would refund shipping.PROHEAR support made the day. They weren’t just giving me a refund and hope I go away, but they wanted to know the problem to make a better product. Not only it's a good product but a worthy company behind it.

I was pleasantly surprised of how well these worked. Upon putting the batteries in, I was a bit skeptical because they didn't want to sit in securely. You have to make sure they are in tight before you put the cover on. I figured they would pop loose when I went over a bump, but I was wrong! The batteries stayed in their place during my four hours of cutting the grass, walking around, and the rechargeable batteries lasted the whole time. Well worth the money, and will get many uses.

I have now had these for a month. I mainly use them for mowing, which can take up to 90 minutes. On a full charge, the batteries are exhausted and need to be charged. I am very disappointed in the battery life. Not sure if the original batteries are bad or if that is the life expectancy of each full charge. It would be nice if they offered replacement battery packs.I also have a larger head than what these will accommodate. The side wires could be about a 1/4 of an inch longer for us taller folks. They are a doable fit, but they are not all that comfortable for extended wear.The ear cups are nicer than I expected, but once again, I have to tuck my ears inside the cups to make them work, which is why they are not comfortable for extended use.They do sound better than I thought they would and using a Bluetooth mp3 player is much better for me in my area as reception is not all that great. Would I recommend these? Sure. They are worth the money, but if you have a larger head they are not going to work well if you require full-day use.

I had a competitor's version of these for the past 15 years. When they finally gave up the ghost, I looked for a new pair and found these. They are much tighter over the ears, not uncomfortably so!), and much quieter than the other set I had.As for noise reduction, it says 25 db and I believe it! I use this while riding my lawn tractor and I usually put on the local FM rock station or AM talk station and both come through crystal clear.The Bluetooth works well with my Android phone, connecting quickly and without any issues. I have not tried the included cord to hook up directly, but I can't imagine that would be any worse than the Bluetooth connection.Battery life is quite good. After two hours, it is still showing near full. It uses a USB cord to charge via the headphone port. The old headphone I had used the same, so I now have two. Do not lose the cord as the more common USB-A or C cords will not work.

Bought for my husband for cutting the grass and weekwacking. They work great both radio and Bluetooth cut out the loud noise completely. And the rechargeable battery last a very long time.

I brought my old pair home and the dog chewed them up. It's very hard to keep things away from a husky. I need these for work. The forklifts are so loud to begin with that I get very irritated and horrible headaches. Without these I can't even concentrate enough to do my job. The headphones with the radio on calm me and quiet the place down. They also keep me interested and awake during midnights.
