The mallet was a little bit heavier than I expected but felt and sounded good when I played with them. The handle material felt really nice as well.

These were bought for my son, a musician. So I asked my son to send me a review..what he thinks. Here it is.“They are pretty good. Easy to use. The wood material is nice on the grip, doesn’t slip. The wood is starting to bend slightly from repeated use. But the mallets produce a good tone quality and have stayed intact.â€So there it is..a review from a college jazz pianist. They shipped with no problems and as promised.

Sticks are unfinished, raw light wood. One is slightly, very slightly off of straight. It does not bother when playing marimba, however. Good value heads are nicely woven and on the heavy side.

I like the feel of medium hard mallets on the vibraphone. I can strike with a lighter stroke and the results are great! The sound is louder and can be heard better by the audience.

I bought the Medium mallets, mainly to use on a drum kit for different sounds and cymbal rolls. The work and sound great!

I liked these Drum Mallets the Sounds were interesting, I have yet to Really Work with them. I Know that they weren't designed to be Used on a Steel Tongue drum but ILike to Experiment.

This is my second or third time purchasing these mallets. I purchased them for my daughter who is in high school and is a percussionist. She loves them they seem pretty durable. I’ve had to purchase them multiple times because she plays multiple instruments so they do wear out quite quickly. However I order them every time and I highly recommend.
