My sway bar bushings on my 2000 Mustang GT were really bad, it was as if the car was 22 years old and still had the Ford OEM bushings (it did). These are a perfect fit and the material was just as dense yet it's as flexible as the originals. Make sure to use the grease that is supplied with them to avoid squeaks and for longer life. They look great on the car and it drives better than ever. I really wish all urethane bushings had the option of coming in Ford blue instead of red only, but that is an industry thing. You won't find better quality at this price. If this was helpful please like or follow me for more honest reviews.

Fit perfect and slide onto factory gt sway bar. No issues with opening up and forcing onto the bar. Little snug on the oem mounting brackets but nothing a rubber mallet and some grease didn’t solve.

Ok... Here's the scoop on the prothane sway bar bushing... First thing I noticed was the cornering ability improvement! Wow what a difference... I'm talking instant noticeable action in a turn... The kind that makes you smile...lol. I must let everyone know this happiness didn't just come from the new prothane bushings alone... I also added a new stablizer kit, not saying the sway bar bushing only make the car handle better because of the (stablizer kit). No not at all... what I'm implicating is... If I only changed the sway bar bushings... There would still be a sufficient difference in the drive quality. This is true because the original equipment have to much flexibility (plus old). Where with the red prothane bushings installed... They remove the extra flex... Therefore allowing more body roll and not much recovery resistance... This means your car will lean into the curve hard...All this goes on while turning... Then you complete your turn and now moving forward towards you destiny. And last thing good about this product is the color red... Red says "hey I know you see me"... I look good on your car/truck 😀😀😀

My dad and I just replaced the stabilizer bar bushings on my 2004 Ford Mustang with these yesterday. The process is a bit involved but probably sounds worse than it really is. Took us a couple hours overall. Getting the old, worn bushings off took some elbow grease and I thought putting these on was going to be a nightmare but lo and behold; they have a nice, clean little split that makes it very easy to install them onto the bar. Getting the brackets on over these wasn't too tough. We found it very easy to get the brackets on by using the base part of the bracket set into place against the flat part of the bushing and then we pressed the outer part of the bracket down over the top of both the bushing and that base part. Otherwise, the bracket just kept pushing the bushing out of whack because of the split. After that, we took the base part of the bracket off as we guided the stabilizer bar back into position and then put them back on so we could bolt the whole thing back into place. Everything Fit perfectly and it feels way more secure than it did with the crusty, deteriorated old rubber bushings.

After ordering the wrong size, I found these and they fit perfectly. It definitely stiffened up my body roll. Much cheaper and easier to replace than with OEM parts. When you have to remove the old bushing, instead of taking off the end links just take a small saw and cut a notch in the side to get it off, then slide these new ones on.Update 5/27/17:A knocking started developing from the front end, knowing it couldn't be my ball joints, or tie rods I went to inspect and found that the sway bar bushings (which fit rather loose when I first installed), had widened to have a gap of about 1 mm from the bar, there were entire parts of the busing not even touching the sway bar anymore. I'm going to have to replace these now. Downgrading from a 5 star review, very disappointed.

Stiffened and tightened up the front end of my vehicle. These along with polyurethane sway bar end links and steering rack bushings are a must. Changing those three bushings from rubber to polyurethane will make a worn tired suspension feel brand new and super responsive. (you can get all 3 sets of poly bushings for about $60 for a sn95/new edge)Easy install, bushings have a slit on one side to slip over sway bar without needing to remove it. Was the size mentioned in the description and came with polyurethane lube. Very happy with the product and price. Couldnt find the red ones anywhere else but here in this size. 27mm will fit 99-04 Mustang GT.

I actually ordered this part by accident. It was a very, happy accident. Since I needed to replace this anyway, I went ahead and got the end links as well. This took the knock out of the left turns, which should scare the teens learning to drive a lot less. I've got two that are about to go through my car here, I'll update should they manage to actually destroy these guys. I'm loving the way this car turns now.
