I tried other standalone trackpads in the pass which while they work ok they just didn't have that premium feel that i wanted and they was made out all plastic so i been looking around for another one and when i saw this one cause it looks like what i all wanted from a trackpad wanted to give it a try. When i first received it i like that the casing was made out of all metal and it also has some weight to it unlike the other trackpads i tried and it has 4 rubber feet on the bottom which helps it to stay were you put it at and with the weight it has it has no issues doing that and it was simple to get it up and going just plug it in and the power light will turn on that lets you know it's on and everything was working and you don't have to mess with drivers or anything which I'm using windows 11.It's very accurate which i have 2 ultra wide screens a 49inch and a 30inch and i have no issues moving the mouse cursors around on them the speed is perfect and the left and right mouse buttons that's bult in the trackpad has really nice clicking feed back to them and letting you know and its not loud either you can hear it but it's not a loud plastic clicking sound as other trackpads can have has than all the muti gestures works perfect on it which i love to use the zoom in and out and the scrolling on webpages is nice and smooth and another thing it comes with a plastic film protector already on it which you can peel off if you wanted but i been using it with it on and i have no issues using it with it so when you first get it don't peel it off see if you like it on first.I'm just so glad i found a trackpad that i love using which i like using trackpads and trackballs when I'm on the desktop doing normal stuff like browsing than when gaming i use my gaming mouses i can keep going on and on talking about this kind of stuff but this trackpad is worth giving a try if you want a nice premium feeling trackpad that works perfectðŸ‘

Works fanstastically. The biggest issue I have is the darn cable. Would be GREAT if this could be rechargeable like Apple's Magic Trackpad, as the cord is always getting in my way ( I set it up like a laptop with the keyboard above it).Getting used to the mogul, but....

ProtoArc is my new favorite brand when it comes to PC accessories. This brand offers the best quality for buck and all its products have a premium feel and this trackpad feels no different. Competitor brands should learn from them and not skimp on quality. I also own a folding wireless keyboard and vertical mouse from this brand and all have been working great. Coming back to this trackpad, its quite thin but also large in size allowing me to navigate on screen easily. Thankfully its precise and you are able to perform any function you intend to without any issues. Another good thing about this trackpad is that its plug and play and still supports multi gesture operations. You do not need a separate app to be able to configure it. Just plug the usb cable in your PC and you should be good to go. Just to be clear, I am using it with Windows 11 but it should work well with other operating systems too. I got it in sliver color and goes nicely with my keyboard color as you can see in the photos. Its quite portable and I even take it to my office. Also there's no learning curve and its relatively easy to use it. I wish it also had wireless capibility. Overall I'm highly impressed with this trackpad and would definitely recommend it.

I have two keyboards from ProtoArc and they are both high quality, so I thought to give this touchpad a try. It's nice. Plug and play installation, and smooth operation. It was about as smooth to use as a mouse for pointing and clicking. The size helps; I find a typical laptop touchpad to be cramped and I rarely use one, but this is 6.4 x 4.8 inches. I've included a photo of the pad next to an ergonomic mouse and a pen so you can get a sense of the size. With that size, it's easy to get a mouse speed that works as well as a mouse on a mousepad, and the extra room makes gestures a lot easier. The first gesture I noticed, I really like. It's a two finger swipe up or down. That gesture scrolls most software, just like the scroll wheel on the mouse. But it felt much more in control of the scrolling. What's also nice is the side-to-side version of the gesture, which will scroll horizontally; there's no equivalent on most mice.It has a variety of other gestures. Three finger side to side allows changing the active window. That's a lot easier for navigation than the alt-Tab that I've used for years.Pinch worked as expected, for zoom, in apps that work with zoom. I didn't realize that Notepad works with zoom, but I was playing with the touchpad writing this review and noticed that it did. Zoom worked especially well in Word, where I expect to use it a lot.A new gesture that I don't think I even have on my laptop was a four-finger gesture to bring all windows to the taskbar. Down does that; four-finger swipe upwards puts the desktop back to the state it was in before you swiped down.A few operations I found easier with the mouse. Dragging to highlight text and copying it is definitely possible with this touchpad, but it's easier with a mouse. Of course, that operation was designed with a mouse in mind.I wish the USB cable that comes with the unit was a bit longer. I tested first on a desktop machine, and it was barely long enough (about four feet), which resulted in limited positioning available for the pad. But with the typical laptop, it's plenty long enough, and I fortunately have some six feet USB-C cables.I think this is a nice option for many creative options - drawing and video editing tools for example. I tried it in Camtasia, and it was as easy as the mouse and I think will get even easier as I get used to it in that program.I've never been a huge fan of touchpads, regarding them as just a stand-in for a mouse on a laptop. But this one is expanding my ideas for the usefulness of a touchpad.
