About this item

  • Seam roll for crease-free ironing
  • For ironing collars, sleeves and trouser legs
  • Different settings for various ironing temperatures

A helpful accessory for all sewing and tailoring fans: the seam roll from Prym. Its rounded surface allows you to iron clothes without creasing and even side seams and seam allowances just disappear. The long shape of the ironing roll makes it especially suitable for collars, sleeves and trouser legs. Its special feature is that the two sides of the seam roll can be used differently. The white cotton side is suitable for smooth fabrics and higher temperature settings, the checked wool side for lower temperatures and more voluminous materials.

The pyrom roll is perfect tool for pressing difficult places especially in a masks seams. Overall, its a necessity tool for other seams such as cuff sleeves , collar, and arm sleeves. So far, no tearing of the item, its is sturdy and resistant to ironing on highest level.

I find I can shorten my ironing just using this roll and merely steaming the article of clothing.

Very nice and workable, but, listen to the other Reviews. This sleeve ham is awfully small. I wear a Size 7 glove. The photo shows how short and narrow this thing is. You will not be able to press more than 6-7 inches of sleeve before you have to lift and readjust. I like that they have muslin and wool covering but that’s not enough to give this a good recommendation. This item might be best purchased in brick-and-mortar so that you can judge if this size is workable for you. Go Eagles.

I reached out directly to Prym on FB asking where their Tailor’s Ham is made. I had heard either Germany (their headquarters) or England. It is China. Sigh. I want so much to buy American.

Pratico da usare anche assolutamente non ingombrante lo tengo comodamente nel mobiletto della tavola da stiro con il "ferro a caldaia". Prima avevo quello "classico" ma con questo mi trovo molto meglio.

Nice quality but smaller than expected (my fault, I should have read the sizing better). Great for sleeves and baby clothes but I would have preferred one a tad wider.

Met deze "ham" kun je eenvoudig de rondere naden netjes persen. Net dat beetje meer voor de afwerking en mooie uitstraling van je zelf gemaakte kledingstuk.
