I looked quite a while for a set of "push-up bars" and couldn't find a product I felt comfortable with to purchase. Either the bars we constructed of plastic, stood too high off the ground--as if designed for an acrobat or gymnast--or looked as though they'd be vey uncomfortable with any extended use. These bars fit the bill perfectly; they protect my wrists while I do pushups, allow for a deeper range of motion, and provide a sense of confidence when I use them--as they feel solidly constructed (possibly a steel-alloy?). If you're worried about injuring your wrists with traditional-style push-ups, like the option of going deeper on each set, and want something that isn't going to break with serious use, buy this bar set. For me, the 12x7x5.5's are a perfect distance to work with.

If you're looking for a basic, heavy-duty set of pushup bars, I don't think you'll find better than these.

Very solid and high quality. No worries about doing handstand pushups on these. They are built to be around for a long time.Be aware these do slide on my carpeting, which I wasn’t expecting.

These are amazingly sturdy. I bought them because I've been having a tingling, slightly painful sensation in my wrist when doing push-ups with my hands against the floor. They are a few dollars more than some other push-up bars but in my opinion they are worth it.

These Juperbsky Push up stands will help increase the range of motion of the push up, making the exercise harder. I tried this in a weighted vest, and the push up became much more challenging. It's especially useful for calisthenics training, with movies like the planche.
