First off, I love music - My car is amplified, I play music while I shower, when I clean the house, when I'm washing my car - you get the idea. So when I came across these, I had high hopes. Initially, my plan was to install a Bluetooth soundbar or sorts in my garage but these just looked cleaner and subtle. I was quite skeptical on the brand name - I just never really associated Pyle with high quality products. With that said, I figured for the price, I'd roll the dice and give these a shot.Build quality actually isn't bad on the speakers themselves - the rubber surround is supple and responsive. The plastic housing is sturdy and well made. I did notice that the supplied speaker wire was not the same length - one of them was shorter than the other, way way shorter. Quality control may have missed this? Also the instructions themselves had tons of typos but I got the gist of how to install. Also, I did feel that the power brick/bluetooth receiver was extremely light. Everything that you need is included in the box. I did use a power drill though which got the job done quicker. I also applied silicone to the inner side of the speaker before sliding them in place.So you're probably wondering how do they sound - well, they sound... GREAT. I initially pulled everything out of the box and set it up on the garage floor just to test it out before cutting holes in the drywall. And they sounded ok - but, there's a HUGE difference in sound quality once you actually put them in place within the drywall. You get some good bass, coupled with decent treble. It's truly a great speaker setup. And having it installed in the garage gave it that surround sound feel.For the money, this is a heck of a deal. I would definitely look into other products offered from Pyle simply based on this one purchase alone.Lastly - here is what I don't like about this product. There is no ON/OFF switch. The unit is continuously on unless you physically unplug it from the outlet. Though this is kind of annoying, I plan on purchasing a smart plug that has wifi which will allow me to turn OFF/ON the unit (the outlet is on the ceiling which is why this is kind of an inconvenience for me).With that being said - give these speakers a try. Not a bad choice.

Don’t buy these. They are fairly easy to install and sound decent but just like other reviews noted, the Bluetooth box stops working after about 3 months. When you call the manufacturer they want you to pay for shipping to send them back so that they can be repaired, cmon!! We put these in during our kitchen remodel so the the Bluetooth box is in the attic, uninstalling them to send them back for repair isn’t exactly a walk in the park. Save yourself the hassle of doing it 2x and just get a quality product the first time, these aren’t quality.

Does the b. Sounds crisp when underneath, lacks depth when standing a few feet away. The Bluetooth connection is very useful and easy to plug and play, however, it does disconnect maybe once every two weeks.

As some have indicated not real deep bass but adequate. When my wife said she wanted a food over the deck I told her we needed speakers. Install was easy and sound good. Happy with the purchase.

I purchased these to replace two ceiling speakers for my (at home) library.The speakers arrived blazing fast…ordered at 10pm and they arrived morning at 4am!They were packaged well to ensure safe transport.The speakers are replacing existing 6.5†ceiling speakers although the bezel for these Pyle 6.5†speakers are slightly smaller than my existing speakers. This wasn’t too much of an issue but I had to repaint around the edges for a seamless install.Installation was straightforward. It comes with a small Bluetooth module that requires a plug. It also comes with two small rolls of speaker wire, maybe 10-15ft long. I had an electrician pull power off an adjacent ceiling light and he installed a dual plug outlet inside the ceiling. Because the power was pulled from the ceiling light, the power to the Bluetooth module only works when there are lights on. Fortunately I use Hue lights in the library so I can dim the lights and still use the Pyle Bluetooth module. The speakers are also simultaneously wired into my existing entire home speaker system, so I can airplay to the main unit and play music throughout the entire home or at any time broadcast solely to the Pyle speakers in the library, there are no interference issues with this style of setup.Audio quality is decent. I don’t blast my speakers in the library but they can carry a decent projection without distorting. The speakers are comprised of a subwoofer and tweeter. It is the midrange that suffers in this style of speaker. For audiophiles they will miss the rich midrange sound but for 98% of others, you will think that these sound appropriate for the price.When using the Bluetooth module you can control speaker volume with your iPhone/android phone with the phone’s volume adjustment.My only gripe is the atrociously paltry Bluetooth range. My library is quite large and the ceilings are 14ft tall. I have to place my iPhone 15 in a stationary location in order to ensure consistent broadcasting, if I move around or keep the phone in my pocket, it will intermittently cut audio and sound choppy. I am thinking of replacing this Bluetooth module with a higher end unit to alleviate this issue.For the value and overall sound quality I would recommend this to others.
