Mounting bracket is made of top-graded brass and plastic, rust-resistant; Square plaster guard allows for simple 90 degree cuts; Heat-resistant pressure test cap allows for air or water testing before the valve cartridge is installed and easy access for flushing system.

Very rough edges and the brass seems lighter than it should be which means it's not the same alloy as modern plumbing brass. I bet this will work in a pinch but why try.

After ordering this and trying it wen ended up getting a different set. It wasn't quite right for our application.We'll probably use it somewhere else eventually.We don't have any complaints, we just ordered it to try it out and it wasn't a good fit.

Well I didn't receive the metal ring that fits around the cartridge compartment. It's incomplete.

I was hopeful that the R10000-UNBXHF would be the perfect fit for my bathroom remodel, but it fell short. The valve body doesn't maintain consistent water pressure, fluctuating wildly during use. Additionally, the build feels flimsy and substandard compared to other Delta products I've used. Frustratingly, it started to show signs of rust just weeks after installation, raising serious durability concerns.

Installed the R10000-UNBXHF Universal Shower Valve Body expecting an easy setup, but it turned into a plumbing nightmare. Instructions were unclear, leading to hours of extra work. After installation, it began leaking immediately, indicating poor manufacturing or design. Now faced with the hassle of reinstallation or possible replacement. Extremely disappointed with the quality and functionality.
