These bamboo blinds were offered at a significantly lower price since it was an item previously purchased and returned. It noted the possible damage to the packaging. I took a chance once again and ordered another bamboo blind from that category. All hardware was included and the blind was in perfect condition, just as the previous ones purchased. These blinds are utilized daily as I customize their length for my plants. They are cordless so a little pull and push is all it takes to block or to allow the sun's rays in. These are not blackouts, allowing some light through. However, only silhouettes can be seen at night from the outside looking in, if there is lighting near the shade inside.I ordered Maple and installed them inside my window frame. The brackets can be installed at the top 1 3/8" from each corner. They cannot be installed by mounting the corners due to the headrail. I recommend taking a look at the installation manual above, under Product Guides and Documents. This will better inform you in advance of the mounting method. It was a first for me, and I have installed hundreds of various styles.Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and durability. I have not experienced any issues as I utilize these daily..

Independent, no obligation reviews: Single bathroom window. Installation is relatively easy. Your location may differ pending your construction. I am able to pre drill and screw the brackets to wood behind the drywall board, so no worries about this pulling out. Depending on available sun, blinds let enough through to keep.the lights off. We like the darker natural material with its imperfections and warm color. To us, it is a 100% better look than plastic mini blinds. The no-string mechanism works well, but we do not plan to open-close often, so no idea about longevity. We have shear curtains in front of the blinds for added privacy and a bit more filtering when needed. I will buy again for hall window same side of house so the two windows match.

I absolutely love my shades. The only issue I have is that I had them custom cut. They cut them to the correct size but they only cut them on one side. So when installing them they are close to the side of the window and the other side has a space. So they do not look like they were installed evenly. So more light shows through on the one side of the shade then the other. So if you have them custom cut this might be an issue for you as well. They should have split the difference and cut the blind the same on both sides. This would have made the shade evenly spaced on the window. The way you have to install them there is a little lead way but not enough to install them evenly. But I do love the shade itself. Goes up and down smoothly. The quality is wonderful. It adds just the perfect amount of texture to the room.

Beautiful color and great functionality with this cordless blind. Added much needed style in my bathroom. To save money, I ordered a returned item so it was longer than my window. I didn't love how the extra length bunched up at the bottom so I removed the hooks from the back side of the blind and now it hangs flat and still works perfectly. Great product.

Love the look of these bamboo shades! The color is rich. They were very simple to install! They go up and down so easily (no annoying cords). They are a great fit and heavily filter the light (they are not lined so aren’t blackout, but still do a great job!) I would definitely recommend these. If they came in standard sizes to fit every window in my home, I would buy them for every window in my home! (You can customize them, but it’s a little pricier) overalls I am extremely happy with my purchase (we have 3 of them in our den)

I purchased two the bamboo window shades for the two windows in my bedroom and they are really nice. Great color, well built, solid feel, does a good job blocking out light, and reasonably easy to raise and lower. These are certainly worth the money and they look better than the others I've seen.

We’ve had them for probably 18 months now and while they are beautiful and easy to install, they no longer work. The chords that keep them up fail so they don’t stay up anymore. If you don’t plan on using them and just want them for the looks, they’re great.
