I put this on My Wife’s 98 4X4 Dodge Truck to control her Road Walking Issue! This shocks purpose is to control both tires as to cushion off road bumps! It relieves stress on tie rod ends as well. Always use the best for Off Roading to Getting Groceries and the Wear will last longer. As a Retired Mechanic fix it to last as long or longer than 300 thousand miles and Relax 😌

Husband got this to put on our lifted 91 Chevy Suburban.First time I drove it, the bump steer was horrible! I thought I was going to go into oncoming traffic every time I hit a bump in that thing! I swear the people behind me thought I was on something, as they slowed way down and got the heck away from me.First time husband hit a pothole, he thought he was going to end up in the ditch, it was so bad!I told him something had to be done, or I wasn't driving the darn truck again.He got this steering stabilizer, and it has helped immensely. I no longer feel like a danger to society while driving the truck and I don't feel like I am driving an out of control steer.I would definitely recommend this and would re-purchase the next time my hubby decides to get an older "project" for us to drive around.

Have had this dampner for about 2 years and found that it has some sort of dead spot now. Ranchos warranty states you must go through the seller (Amazon, not 3rd party seller). They have no idea how to warranty this, which was why I bought it for the warranty also

Replaced the stock damper on my 2nd gen 4wd Ram with this. Comes with a lot of hardware for universal fit, but only needed the supplied steel bushings that pressed in with fingers. No tools required to fit it for this truck. Then it was just tightening two bolts to mount it. Looks great, works great. Made in the USA, which is preferable to me, and that's part of why I bought it.
