Lubricate the boot and place it on the expansion fingers to activate the air valve, expand and position it onto the joint, then release for immediate use.
  • Feature: Made of high quality steel and rubber material, corrosion resistant, sturdy and steady, lightweight design, prolonged lifespan. Note: CV joint boots opens to maximum of 5 inches.
  • Before using this tool, you need connect to the air line and adjust the work pressure on 72-130 psi.

It does the job. Make sure to keep the boot close to the tip so that you can get it to slide off. It takes some convincing, so you may want to pre-stretch the new boot and apply some mild heat to prevent it from tearing. The tool does good but there’s no easy way to slide the boot onto the axel from the stretched position.
