I tried a few others with fancy features, but they all came with confusing instructions (from China likely) to self-balance the device. I liked how this model is up to US standards and comes with right out of the box instructions and balances on its own very well with just the "on" button. One competitor model required a sequence of confusing steps to balance the device, which I had zero confidence my 7-year old would be able to do on her own.

My girls like this board and this is the second one we purchased. They use it on the road and up and down hills in our neighborhood. Occasionally it does something unexpected, like stop:) but for the price we have been satisfied. Disappointing that they sent the wrong color this time, but it’s not worth an exchange. Just note if the color is very important to you.

This was a Christmas gift for my kids. We were replacing two older model Razor hoverboards that was damaged in a flood and since I never had any issues with the older modeled hoverboards I decided to stick to what I know. It works great and it is worth every penny!

Stopped working after 2 days. This was the worst Christmas present ever. The motor went out on the right wheel 2 days after we got it. Amazon won't replace it under warranty because it's battery powered and can not be mailed back.
