if you're listening to records you have to have this product. easy to use just squirt a little down the line on one end turn your turntable to 45rpm, lightly place the wet end down and as the record spins roll the pad towards the dry end and scoop it up.

Back in the late 70’s and early 80’s Sidcwasher was king for cleaning vinyl records. Once i saw that they are still being sold I jumped on it and glad i got it. Works just like it did 40 plus years ago.

This is not the original, it's a knock-off. Apparently and unfortunately the original is no longer made. The original had actual bristles in rows that ran the length of the brush. The technique was to wet the leading edge and rotate toward the dry edge as you turn the record on the platter. The surface of this "Discwasher" is covered in a very shallow velvet-like fabric that has NO BRISTLES and barely does anything at all that I can tell. Not everything improves over time - some wonderful things somehow get lost along the way.

It's smaller and the curve on the brush doesn't cover a wide enough section of the lp
