I bought this item for the pencils and not necessarily because of the accessories. With that said, the sharpener was sub par on performance. Knowing that construction pencils are shaped differently than traditional pencils I was speculative on whether a rotary style sharpener would work effectively. As expected it was a little agitating. Every time I was close to getting the point back, the tip broke. This was due to the way blades removed too much for the flat shaped design of the pencil. It is still worth keeping for traditional rounder shaped pencils. The retractable line for the pencil to fit in is a novel idea but not practical in my experience using it, especially when marking measurements away from your body and above your head. Overall, pencils were a great value and are effective.

Sturdy pencils! Great value for the price. The items that arrive with them are very useful. I can see this lasting for a long time for someone like me that does a few random projects here and there.

Do not waste your money. So cheap that I cannot sharpen either with tool or by hand and not break the lead. Lead is very weak and brittle, I threw them away.

I haven't actually used any of these yet but I hbe longer l have sharpened a couple of them and doodled with them. The lead seems to be longer lasting than conventional pencils

The pencils are made from very soft wood and do not sharpen well with the sharpener. Also the lead breaks easily.
