I noticed these refillable carpenter pencils on Amazon while searching for another item. This set came with two sturdy refillable pencils, 4 packages of pencil lead refills, and a sharpener. I have used them and they work great. I still love the old sturdy carpenter pencils but got tired of stores like Home Depot and Lowes charging me at least $1 each. This set was approximately $12. They work great on marking wood and can also be used to make legible writing on paper when you need to. I highly recommend these! Ordering was easy as it always is on Amazon and they were delivered as promised and in great condition. Thank you!

I like mechanical pencils. Was introduced to Pentel pencils in freshman engineering class in 1969 and have used them since.These bring the convenience of the mechanical pencil to the wookworking/metalworking arts. The pencil uses a 2.8mm lead which stands up to abuse without breaking and the pencil has a built-in sharpener in the cap. Combined with the different colors available in lead refills, I really like this tool.

They work well and mark amazing on wood for easy to see lines.

This is a must have for any wood worker, wish I would of had this years ago went from cutting on a caulk line to a fine line make for better finish project

I recently purchased a similar item from the brand name Hultafors and was not impressed to say the least. In fact the ridiculous price of both the pencil and the refill lead alone make it a rip off. However this item is inexpensive and high quality at the same time. I LOVE IT!!

Very good quality. These are great mechanical pencils and will last a life time. The refills are top quality as well. I love the built in sharpeners as well. Also the sellers were top quality as well. Ty

This is a nice set. 2 pencils and both have the optional writing grip. The writing grip is plastic which is nice because it won't deteriorate or get stretched out or sticky over time, from oils that can break down the rubber type grips. Clip seems sturdy enough so far. Nice selection if lead colors to use as well, although I have just used the graphite so far. The level is nice to have as well. None of the leafs came broken. Very happy with this purchase.

I handed out the pencils to the boys before I got a picture. but these pencils work great and feel right ergonomicly in the fingers and they don't slip out of the pouch.
